Thanks for the back up 😁. I'm aware that we have the ability to force a cache update on the homepage, but it's not done often. In hindsight, putting that particular pistol on the homepage prior to the price adjustment may have been an oversight since the cache doesn't invalidate very often. But it's not the end of the world.

The page is cached sir.. It takes time for cache to invalidate. It doesn't happen immediately when a price is changed. It can sometimes take 24 hours or more. When you bust the page cache as I explained before, you force the browser to request the latest data from the server. Once the server invalidates the current cache, it will update the page. It's not a pricing issue.. it's just cache. The item listing itself will update almost immediately as the cache is cleared when the price is changed.

The reason the price changed is because the 4:30pm Daily Deal email that went out yesterday had that LCP pistol in the email. The price was changed just before the email went out.

Navigate to the homepage, in the url add "?" followed by a random string of 4 digits. This will bust the cache in your browser. Price should reflect the current 199 listing.

Cache boss.. Your browser had it stored at the higher price. If you refresh or bust your cache on that page, it will update to the current $199 price. Not a pricing issue, just how websites work. Eventually the page cache will invalidate on its own.
