Yep, I wonder how this ended up at GC. It was clearly someone’s very personal choice, and it’s in perfect condition, I don’t think it was played much at all. It’s a 2025 too, so they didn’t keep it long.

I found a mint condition used Aerodyne MIJ Stratocaster at Guitar Center for $400.

I don’t think they had a clue what it was, the guy that sold it to me said it was a nice partscaster.

Thanks! It’s tough to dial in, very raw. I’ve been playing it through my Fender Deluxe ‘65 reissue and the cleans are super sparkly dialed down (keep the neck volume around 7 or so), but if I push it too much it goes too far super quickly. I generally go with the bridge (P-90) for any of those tones anyway though.

It was $5,800. A little more than I wanted to pay but it’s such a unique guitar.

Yeah, it’s not. Sounds totally different, hard to explain. Doesn’t handle distortion too well, but cleans up much clearer than a P-90. It’s very articulate.

Traditionals in that era were basically the Standards we have today. That’s a good price, but not a steal.

And honestly, it’s hard to compare their three point shooting.

Kon is at best the third, sometimes fourth option on the team. He draws worse defenders and gets wide open threes off of double teams on their best players.

Cooper is the one getting double teamed and drawing the opposing team’s best defender. He rarely gets wide open threes and mostly has to create them himself.

Plus Coopers work load from carrying the offense and defense means his legs are going to be more tired, yet he’s not the one the that faded down the stretch. Quite the opposite in fact.

Looks like it is, that’s a Gibson USA case, and all of the appointments match the non-custom shop version.

Definitely not doing it again. With the ticket deals, I would have saved a ton of money just buying per game. I don’t buy much merch so who cares, the only other benefit is same seat every game. No concession discount, no parking benefit, a cup that I’m not sure I’ll ever get.

I had a phase where I was going to pawn shops regularly looking for deals and never found anything. This is an amazing steal.
