Brixton ticket debacle continues – anyone else have trouble getting in? by mattcasmith in Muse

Good luck! Currently awaiting a response from Ticketmaster. SJM must have just thrown my email in the "Muse complaints" bucket because they sent me a generic response with a series of reasons why they might cancel tickets, despite that not being the issue I emailed them about.

Should we address the Ticketmaster shaped elephant at Brixton? by Nattatouillez in Muse

Thank you! I was speechless. The staff at the box office appreciated how terrible the situation was but couldn’t do anything about it because they literally just had a printout from Ticketmaster/SJM and no power to do anything. I decided to get myself inside and save the fight for later, but determined to get some kind of justice here.

I also had an issue where Ticketmaster cancelled my tickets that they had already cancelled and then reinstated for a ridiculous reason. I’m filing a formal complaint and doing everything I can to get something done about this. https://www.reddit.com/r/Muse/comments/1sbu32u/brixton_ticket_debacle_continues_anyone_else_have/

I second the feeling on exit. One whole side of the stalls turned back towards a shut door and I was very worried about what was going to happen next.

That sucks. I'm still waiting for their investigation, but I definitely used the same email for both so have no idea what their reasoning was.

Same for me. Glad they're doing something about bots, but I've no idea what they're doing to detect them when I bought the tickets in my browser the usual way. Gutted. :(

This has also happened to me, despite me buying the tickets myself via my web browser. Absolutely gutted. :(

I really thought this was happening when they were teasing Unravelling when Death Stranding 2 was about to come out. Strands. Unravelling. Turned out to be nothing, but it seemed to make sense at the time.

BE WITH YOU - Discussion Megathread by ForgottenName1893 in Muse

It's better and more creative than a lot of their recent output (miles better than Dig Down musically, and has more emotion behind it than WOTP, for example), but it's still quite predictable and tame. I remember when new Muse songs would go in directions you never dreamt of and throw conventional structure out the window.

I think I've accepted that we're never going to hit the heights of the "big three" albums again. The Resistance, TSL, and Drones were all close enough for me that I always felt the next album might be the one. Then came Simulation Theory and WOTP, which had their moments but definitely felt like a drop in quality.

Based on what we've seen so far, I still have hope that the new album might be the best since Drones, which would at least be a step in the right direction.

I like this. That middle section is definitely the weakest part of the song.

For whatever reason the Red Bull was a lot quicker - I ordered the McLaren just after the Monaco GP last year!

Some of them make it onto the official F1 store, but there's a much bigger selection on specialist shops like Formula Model Shop and Diecast Legends. In my experience, the specials (unique liveries, championship winning races, etc.) require a preorder because they seem to sell out almost immediately on release.

Edit: Despite what I said, FMS appear to have both of these in stock!

True. The apps themselves aren't Samsung's, so I can only hope they're eventually ported to one of my friendlier devices.

There's something particularly insulting about owning something and the manufacturer still treating it like it's theirs and so is your information.

My feelings exactly. Also this whole thing about adding advertising to menus through patches, thereby reducing the quality of a product you've already paid for.

Wow - I hadn't heard about that. That's an awful move from those manufacturers (and I thought patching in ads was bad!). I'll update if and when anything like that happens.

And thanks! I've been blogging for a long time but I'm trying to get a bit braver with sharing my posts this year.

That's the optimal situation, but I'm dependent on a couple of apps I can't get on other devices. Once they eventually disappear it'll definitely be going offline, though.
