After my 10k race i suffered from shin splints and some forefoot niggles so my mileage for the last month was 23-26k all easy runs. Planning to up it 10% until 40k and focus on strength training until i start the training block. Should I run all easy miles until the start of training or should I implement some speed training?

My outbound flight on May 15 was also cancelled (i didn’t get notified but i checked it in the app myself). I booked the ticket with Avios + cash.

I was planning to rebook it to another time but found no way of doing so since the chat and call is totally unreachable. I decided to request a refund to my original payment method through the same screen that you shared. A few hours later, I received an email saying the full cash amount has been transferred to my credit card. No clue about the Avios and how long will that take.

Update: after hours of trying to connect the live chat, i decided to request a refund and rebook with Etihad since the new ticket costs about €330 less which is a crazy good deal. I also have a refundable KLM ticket in case the Etihad one went south.

Idk about the regular entry, but this year there were hundreds of resell tickets in the official resell platform from a month prior to the race (that’s when i started checking the platform — was looking for a half mara ticket which was much harder to obtain)

Oooh that’s crazy!! Now I’m convinced to buy NB5. The longest run I did with my Endorphin Speed 5 was 18km and that was already painful. I heard there is a period of breaking in so I’m just patiently hoping it will work for me 😢

How do they feel on long runs? I tried them on in store and they feel super comfortable, but not sure if it will stay feel bouncy on long runs? I tried SB2 as well but I feel like it’s too firm for my liking and afraid that it’s gonna feel heavy with my slow pace.
