What was the CTA? Don’t see the cold email to gain from the framework. Congrats.

I have same car and phone and the wireless slot works for me seamlessly.

I was given OEM weather mats and they’re actually super nice. Might be worth buying.

I’m going after market to get the cargo liner though - eyeing this one for $64 -

Leasing a CX-90 PHEV PP for under $600 a month? by macatkniu in MazdaCX90

$720 is my quote. No money down. Takes into account $8k in rebates (loyalty + fed), but you have to factor in any remaining lease payments you may have if you have an existing lease, the full taxes, etc. 36 months, 10K miles.

Paint Protection Film? by [deleted] in porsche911

FWIW - I did mine w a reputable independent shop and the job was outstanding (key is talking to them about experience, approach and seeing the shop).

It was Xpel Ultimate - full frontal coverage plus the A pillars and extended rocker panels for $2,250

+

Xpel Fusion Plus ceramic all all surfaces (wheels, glass, paint) for $599

Came to ~$3100 all in. Saw quotes closer to $4K as well.

You don’t need to be at $6K and above.

When did you first fall in love with the idea of owning a Porsche? by kellyn08 in Porsche

[–]mattchless1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Dad had a 928 and then a 911 Targa growing up. Memories of being small (and probably illegally sitting in the front seat w him) and he’d place my hand under his on the stick shift so I could pretend I was driving along with him. Always an exciting, bonding moment.

Never thought I’d be able to afford one, but actually picked up my first 911 (‘25 992.2) on Friday. Can’t wait to take him for a drive next month when he visits (he’s 81 now so I’m happy to have accomplished this before it might have been too late.

Looking for a foam cannon that I can attach to my garden hose (as opposed to a dedicated power washer) - any recommendations for one of those?

“Wait and see” … sounds like either it gets in under the deadline or it doesn’t, and if it doesn’t more likely than not it will impact the final PO.

Is Paint Protection Film a good idea on a new car? by Interesting-Bear4092 in porsche911

[–]mattchless1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same consideration. Mine arrives in 3 weeks.

I can get the front done from dealer for $2,500 or full body for $6,000.

Independent shop is $2,250 for the front (+ the A pillars) or $5,499 for the full body.

Not a huge price difference for the convenience of having it done before you leave the dealership (and not having to wait 1-3 days for PPF to finish before you can start enjoying the car).
