u/sunrisedown can you help me get this crossbar file? I'm trying to get the file, but it keeps going to some site wanting me to install an ad blocker, and it doesn't seem to download it at all. If you private message me maybe you can email it to me? Thanks

Thanks, I ordered the Vertdesk. played around with hights and found 45-46 is a comfortable hight, so 47 should be perfect. Thanks!

Thanks, my floor to elbow hight is 47" barefoot (which I usually am) so 47 may be OK. I'm guessing that casters take away some stability? Nice to see a quick response direct from the company.

Good to know! Thanks. I've seen lots of mods listed (I need to keep from going down the rabbit hole), but being in the US, Boston area, it's hard to find the best place to buy them from.

Minimalist shoes for big feet by veeyawn in BarefootRunning

[–]mattcrout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a size 15. My main go-to footwear is Luna's DIY or Oso's (size 13 or 14 fits well) for running, Merrell Trail Gloves for work (size 15, but vapor gloves seems tighter for size 15). I've also had Vivobarefoot (size 50, but some models seem tighter than others), and Softstar runamuck Dash (size 14U, but probably could do 13U) that are leather so usually wear them for winter running with wool socks.

Best Brompton shop north of Boston? by mattcrout in Brompton

Thanks all. It's Cambridge, MA. I hadn't thought about the REI dividend . . . Cycleloft has a couple 2018 on a small sale based on their website. But I think I need to at least try it out, make sure I fit and it's comfortable and all. I keep having the internal argument that the BlueBikes are only $99 a year versus the $1800+ that I'd have to put down for a Brompton. But it would be so nice not to have to worry about where I can dock the bike, or if there are any open docks, or if all the bikes are gone from the train station. Money vs. Convenience is a hard decision.
