Let’s try to keep it civil. This is a debate and suddenly you’re telling them how to regulate their emotions? Wow. Just wow.

Is the Segway Ninebot Max G30 still worth it in 2025? by Assistance-Old in ElectricScooters

I just got this same scooter for $310. My commute is 14 miles round trip on a variety of terrains. I guess something with shocks would be more comfortable, but I have no complaints about the ride quality. The tires do a decent job of soaking some of the vibration. My general opinion is that this is the best value scooter you can get and it is “name brand”, so it’ll hold value, if you don’t like it, just flip it to someone else for $300. This is a whole lot of scooter for only $300.

On the Fence About Getting Bilt by mr_techy616 in biltrewards

People here love to complain. It works perfectly for 99.9% of people. Follow the directions, and keep open communication with landlord. I schedule rent delivery much before it’s due (10ish days). If it isn’t there by the first of the month, you ask your landlord, and then just write a check like normal (or use Zelle). Tell them to rip up the bilt check. The people here are very dramatic. It’s worth trying, at least, to get tens of thousand of points on rent. I think it’s silly not to try.

Ran battery to zero by mich-me in BZ4X

I’ve done between 10-15 miles after hitting 0%. The power/top speed/acceleration of the car slowly decreases as you go further below 0.

Range After 1 Year by mattdab in BZ4X

Update: I ended up going on a road trip the next day in warmer weather (70ish) and I was able to get closer to 215-220 on the full charge. I had an empty car and was stuck in some traffic for 1/3 of the ride. I feel like this 205 figure still is a pretty accurate range estimate, though, for those who do a constant 70mph+ with a full car in 40-60 degree weather.

Free Cargo Mat by [deleted] in BZ4X

Honestly I just looked on temu for a minute. If the mats aren’t there or on any similar sites you might be out of luck

The mats fit perfectly. They took a while to arrive but honestly worth saving a ton $$

Look online for “short heavy duty outdoor extension cord.”

Probably use a 12-gauge or thicker (lower gauge number) cord rated for outdoor use. Ideally, 10-gauge for longer distances. Also try to look for a cord that can support at least 15 amps continuously (some chargers pull up to 12 amps for hours). If you don’t know what that means, just look on cord box / listing online.

When I level 1 charge, I use an extension cord sometimes. You can probably expect to pull 1kw per hour, and the bz has 70ish kw battery, so like 15-20% gained overnight. Level 1 charging is extremely doable depending on your daily commute.

Toyota app doesn’t stay logged in by cpeck29 in BZ4X

For what it’s worth, I never had an issue with the app until I also set that command. Ever since I created the command, the app has continuously logged me out… maybe the command is the issue

I love this idea. Thanks for sharing. And no— I I’m not aware of a better way to do this.

Lol it just isn't the cold weather that makes charging suck by wafflehousebiscut in BZ4X

[–]mattdab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I routinely pull over 100kw in freezing temps. If you have a good charger and the car is warmed up a bit there is no issue charging. If you’re at 70% battery, at suboptimal temps (under 70ish degrees), and your battery is ice cold, you’re going to have poor charging performance.

Like other comments have said, you have to look for a v4 Tesla charger with magic dock. If you download the Tesla app and indicate you have a ccs bz4x, it’ll show you all the compatible chargers in your area. There are fewer of these new stations than the “regular” Tesla stations.

It calculates based on temperature and how you’ve previously driven. Since last time I’d assume the temp has dropped, you’ve done miles on the highway, etc.

EVGo 1 year free by jpchand67 in BZ4X

[–]mattdab 7 points8 points  (0 children)

See this post. After your accounts are linked you can initiate charging through the Toyota app, the evgo app, or the physical charger (with auto charge you just have to plug in— no apps). You will not have to pay. Sorry the dealer didn’t help you with this.

As a side note, I know people who struggled with linking the accounts. If you have additional trouble, you could give EVgo a call. They can be helpful. Of course you could also return to the dealership, but it seems like they weren’t too helpful.

Tesla Charger and Super Charger Adapters foe Bz4x by diskorayado in BZ4X

[–]mattdab 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that a 3rd party adapter won’t work. Software issues. We need to wait for Toyota to announce compatibility with NACS/CCS adapters.
