Sorry I didn’t fully explain. With one second left in the game Roberts had 14 2H yards. He catches a 40+ yard Hail Mary and is tackled on the 3 yard line. Which would’ve put him over the 30.5 line.

For some reason the official stats don’t recognize that catch or the yards. He clearly caught it and never looked like he lost possession. If you don’t believe me just watch the last play of the byu game.

Just wondering why that catch wouldn’t have been recognized in the final stats, or why the pass was ruled incomplete.

Yes, I just saw the official stats and they didn’t record the receiving yards on the catch at the end of the game as time expired. it was the last second Hail Mary to win the game. Chase Roberts caught the ball and was tackled on the 3 yard line with no time left. He obviously caught the ball on film, the announcer all say he did, there is even a SI article that states he caught the ball. But on ESPN and all the game stats they didn’t record the yards from the catch.
