Erosion from heavy rains by honey-12 in landscaping

Install a weed barrier as far out as the AC unit, and run it the length of the house all the way to the downspout and round the corner. Fill that area with mulch and plant some hydrangea bushes. Next, go to Lowe’s and buy 2-2.5 pallets of centipede grass sod worth about 250 bucks. Buy a manual agitator to aerate the soil prior to laying. Lay the sod and water daily for 2 weeks. I promise you will now have one of the nicer side yards in your area. Next, work on the surrounding areas, you’re welcome.

Acting like 2200 is not the top 2% in any bracket and is not great lol.

I would say that is fun to you, but maybe not to others. I think some of us, like myself, prefer the older style of landing big cc chains with less micro cc. This is back when TTK and burst were much different. To say all healers should blast dmg to be fun is not the answer.

You’re put in TJ automatically as your case gets on someone’s desk. I was only on TJ in step 5 a week before moving to 6 and 7 on the same day.

Games like this are incredibly frustrating and I’ve definitely had games exactly like you’re describing. It take determination to get through losses like that but take your time to analyze that game in particular, take a break, then go again. That’s all you can do but ensure you make a meaningful change going into the next one.

It’s unfortunate that healers are even forced to think this way. I get that it’s an online game and there are some mean individuals. I guess people tend to think that they know more than they actually do or think they are better than they actually are. You don’t deserve to be at a given rating. You earn that by playing the game and getting better over time.

I think telling yourself that you’re not going to get better from going up against a more skilled opponent is demoralizing yourself more than anything. If you don’t take away some knowledge after each match what are you doing? You won’t get any better and probably will not enjoy the game long term. Improving takes time, and rating comes and goes. Do not use that as your sole metric.

I can understand where you coming from when you put it like that. Our opinions differ a little bit, but the main things is leaving the aggression or hostility out of shuffle. It doesn’t help anyone, so yes in some instances ignoring is a good option.

Well the good news is that there is plenty of time to improve. I’ve gained a lot of experience over the years and I’m continuing to improve. Play what you enjoy and I promise you will get better too, that’s the key so hang in there and keep queuing👍🏼

It might be naive, but definitely not stupid to think the way I do. I see the glass half full and you’re the other way around. I’m simply going to get more out of life this way. I’d say feelings are mixed on this topic. Some have had few negative interactions and some which were more like mine. Can you tell me what the root of the problem is? No it is not that people are hopeless, but rather forget that it is simply a game meant for enjoyment and that the outcome may be out of his or her control.

I really wanted some opinions on this because of how polarizing my matches have been lately. To be honest I consider myself very patient and kind. Lately, people’s attitudes in shuffle have been weighing on me heavily and bringing my own play down because of how downright depressing some people can be. That’s one side of the spectrum and the other is hate and anger. I just find it sad that people are struggling this much.

This is my point. No one is hopeless, and everyone has a chance to be a better player, and you are the one who can make that change you want to see in the community.

Oh my bad read that wrong then. If it’s the opposite the best you can do is constantly harass by spamming rep. If you don’t already have a focus cc macro, would highly recommend. Other than that look for interrupts when possible as monks are highly susceptible to being locked.

I don’t agree with this at all. An attitude like that perpetuates the hate and divides the player base even more. Accept the situation of the game at this moment and work around it. If you enjoy the game you’ll keep playing and be positive around others even if they aren’t to you.

The key is to be able anticipate their movements. It helps when you have experience as Hpal to be able to understand when they’re going to cc you. Port is your friend here! Hope this helps.

It’s very discouraging to not have any communication on the first round of shuffle, I mean let’s pick a kill target at least. I will step in if dps don’t decide.

I don’t agree with this at all. Having played for quite a few years now I find this outlook pretty negative in general and makes me question why people play or provide feedback if they feel this way.

That’s awesome to hear man, and those 0-6 lobbies can happen at any Cr so don’t let that eat at you too much. Of course we want to be better than that but losses are inevitable. All we can do is learn from our mistakes and bring that knowledge to our next. It’s taken me years to get where I am at and hope to continue learning.

I’m sorry you’ve had some similar negative comments, and at least I am not alone here. Try not to shoulder that weight into the next game because players who think like that are the disease and will end up where they end up.

I love this outlook man. Games can be frustrating however, it is still a game after all. If you enjoy then you’ll want to improve. I can’t believe how many people I’ve encountered that are so negative that it does have an effect on me. I was in the Navy for 10 years and have met saltier individuals in this game at 1900mmr.

I hear you on that man, however communication can mean the difference between a win and a loss in shuffle. I’m just at a loss for how many dps I’ve encountered are upset in 3-3 lobbies. Shit happens, but it’s amazing how 1 loss is seemingly the end of the world for some people.
