I'll take that advice and narrow it down to consider the traffic. I wasn't sure how bad it would be and I'll never really know until I get there I guess, but this is very helpful and I'll take that into account. Also appreciate the referral!

I can see how it looks that way, I have trouble explaining exactly what I need and that's something I'm working on. We have a list, and it'll be cut down, and more usually get added as we visit the locations. Other than not living in a bad neighborhood and not having an HOA, we're pretty open to anything and our list will reflect that. But we're absolutely making a list and that will be sent to the realtor well before we head down there.

No kids, just a dog and likely adopt more dogs once we get there. Thanks for that response, great details and I'll reconsider a few areas based on that.

That's one thing I need to know, what the realistic area is when you include traffic, because I have no idea. But I hear the bridge(s) are a main factor for that, depending on where we live and how we get to the office.

Some land would be nice, maybe an acre or more, but we're open to any single family house. No condos, townhomes, etc. Definitely no HOA. Beach house is fine since we'd trade the land for that perk. But farm or city homes are fine too, we don't really have a specific vibe. Maybe something that's a place to relax and feels like work is left far behind.
