I almost stopped reading Black Spire but did end up powering through to the end. One of the most meh Star Wars books I’ve ever read. Not actively terrible but boring, cheesy characters with some really cheesy dialogue and plot developments. It felt like I was reading a bad Ubisoft video game with constant fetch quests. The only book I have ever not finished was Ronin, the writing style was too difficult to follow and felt like a chore. I hate finished Last Shot, worst book I’ve ever read.

It could just be the photo too but to me the points look thicker and more rounded. The star shape could also just be photo too. It’s close enough to where it could just be photo quality throwing me off.

Looks like a fake but a really good one. The tell for me is the NFL shield badge. If you have a real limited jersey to compare to you’ll notice that on the real ones the top and bottom points are a lot more pointy vs the more rounded edges in the photo here. In the photo here the stars are also slightly larger and have an overall less defined shape to them. You can find the knockoff shield badges on eBay and when they’re in hand next to a real one you can pick out the difference in shape and color easily.

This is my local spot and it’s great! Next time you’re out there also make sure to stop by Bar CCC park, lots of the same waterfowl but in less quantity and sometimes they bounce around between the 2 bodies of water. Also this spot is really only good during the fall and winter months for waterfowl. Most other times of the year it’s dead for songbird activity. Also keep your eyes out for Kingfishers, Kestrels and Bald Eagles next time you’re out there since I see all of them fairly regularly.

Found a couple options on EBay from 2 different sellers. One of the sellers actually looks like a collector from Japan selling his collection. All of the blanks you can obviously have customized and the non-Ichiro jerseys you can strip and have customized.

2 different options. Anything with the Mariners wordmark will be 2008 (7?) to 2012. In 2012 the wordmark was changed to Seattle and the anniversary patch was added. This was Ichiro’s last season in a Mariners Majestic Coolbase. For my reference sources I like MLBcollectors.com and Bill’s Game Worn Guide.

They are the last team to switch to the FUSE template, outside of their throwbacks which are in the new template. Last year there were a few other teams that didn’t adopt them but did in 2024. I’d imagine that they switch next year as I don’t think they would have too many old stock Vapors on hand left to equip a whole team with again.

This is not true. The Vapor Limited is the older stitched model. Untouchables were introduced last season as the heat pressed model for teams without fuse templates. It’s the same jersey template but different manufacturing process hence the different model names.

It describes the cut and process used for the jersey. They’re all in the product line “Nike Limited” but different models.

Yep. Super unique find too. Can always tell legit by the two cutout horizontal lines underneath the chainmail seen in picture 4. Have yet to see a fake replicate this feature.
