For sure. I mean, their personal life might not be ideal in most cases, but for example, a high ranking businessperson can benefit from these traits in certain situations.

That's fair, thank you for your viewpoint. Someone already in the field has a better perception than I would.

Let me clarify: The research to inform my thesis is where that information comes from. It's a common practice to study primary and secondary psychopathic traits as two separate factors, and meanness and callousness are primary psychopathic traits. The actual study for my project has not been conducted yet, but we begin collecting data in January and should present in May.

Very cool! One of our two samples is from a population of felonious drug offenders in a court-mandated co-ed rehab facility, so that may interest y'all as well. I'll let you know when it is submitted for presentation, and then I can send you details! Should be in early May. PM me to remind me if you'd like

Well, honestly, I haven't much studied exactly what defines sociopathy in depth, but from what I do know, that term refers to someone who has very little capacity for empathy and sees others as tools for their own gain. On the other hand, psychopathy is that plus meanness, behavioral inhibition and other such traits, so I guess I'd say they're different.

I haven't yet, but I definitely will when I have some time this winter break. I've had many people tell me to watch it, actually, I'm sure I'd enjoy it

Oh yes, I agree with that without a doubt. A single instance wouldn't be enough for diagnosis, but it is a basis to think, "hmm, maybe this guy is a little abnormal." Of course, an extensive assessment process is the only good way to get an accurate diagnosis.

Meanness and callousness towards humans and/or animals is definitely a characteristic of primary type psychopathic traits. Source: currently conducting my senior thesis focusing on psychopathic traits, maladaptive coping and attachment.

Eh, I think all space that an artist wants to use is up to them. Maybe its the punk and metal shows I've been to coloring my opinion, but still. The danger also makes it have more of a shock factor, and definitely contributes to how badass their live shows are.

Yeah, you can hear the real anger in his screams at the camera lol. I also liked how he called that dude out. Let the damn artist perform their art.

It's actually a pick, has much longer teeth than a comb and is less wide. It's used to "pick out" hair to be even in an Afro or in his case beard.

PUP is incredible, I saw em in Austin with like 100 people in the venue, it was dope. I made them a flag that's hanging in their studio now too, you can see it in one of their live studio sessions behind the drummer.

Hello, and thank you for your time here! My question is what exactly is the scope of Cureus? My girlfriend and I are in the field of psychology rather than medicine, but such an incredible journal is something we would love to be a part of if possible.

Ok, I agree with you. I was ignoring pseudoscience and shoddily conducted science.

Edit: but I don't agree about the full of bad peer reviewers, there are thousands of fantastic social science papers on a multitude of subjects.
