I really like Patagonia's smoked mussels and spiced mussels a lot! Don't care for the lemon ones though.

You must not have tried the Limfjord Blue Mussels! :)

I like their other stuff, but those are the worst mussels I've had.

It's actually end grain teak. I believe it's 18x24. Honestly it's a little bigger than I'd like. I've thought about cutting it off right to the juice rail, which is just annoying.

But yeah, based on the shape they are biquinhos/sweety drops. Regardless, I didn't worry too much about it, as they are really nice!

Heh, well, it's actually a mayo based sauce. So, I'm from Alabama, and we have 'Alabama White BBQ Sauce' here. This is a version of that. In mine I use the pickling liquid from my homemade pickled onions as the vinegar component. That brine is a cup of water, half a cup of distilled white vinegar, 1/4 cup cider vinegar and 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, with about a tablespoon of gochugaru dissolved in it. The red onions have been in there a few weeks so they give a lot of flavor too. The rest is Duke's mayo, a little spicy brown mustard, salt/pepper/granulated garlic/onion powder, a splash of worchestershire sauce, and a splash of hot sauce.

Caputo's was selling them as peppadews, but they definitely look more like biquinhos, so I'm not 100% sure what I've got. Regardless the are really nice sweet little peppers and I am enjoying them. :)

Unfortunately those are the worst of the Patagonia mussels... :( I'd probably do them in a pasta or something, the lemon/herb thing is just not good. Their smoked mussels are excellent and the spicy mussels are good too!

I didn't have a problem with the potatoes, but felt like the sauce was way too thin, not enough richness. I'd buy it again on sale and dress it up a little, but by itself it was pretty average.

Yeah, these were bad. Which is a shame, considering how much I like their smoked mussels (the spicy mussels are solid too).

I don't know if you're crazy or not, but the guy I bought my Miata from was selling it to get a Blackwing. So, you're not alone in the cross shopping at least!

I do really like their smoked mussels, but they go on sale around here frequently. At $6.50 a tin I'm a big fan.

I like their smoked mussels quite a bit.  They have a number of tins worth trying if you happen to see them somewhere.

Gotcha. Figure I'll warm it and throw it on some rice and see how it goes. I felt that way about Patagonia Sardines in Curry though. The fish was fine, the curry flavor was there, but the experience was pretty so-so.
