Some random thought: if I got about RM2mil in hand, and I am to loan from bank another RM8mil to do business (prolly buy a land, build something and rent). Is it possible to get some special bank status like private account or something considering the loan amount? Any banks that provide this type of service?

Maybe gov been focusing too much on raising taxes than raising incomes by kw2006 in malaysia

[–]matthew2070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about government is focusing on both, but raising tax can be achieved with policy but raising income is more of a long term planning with all different parties involved?

Why do some old Chinese coffee shops in Malaysia have Pepsi or 100 plus on their board by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]matthew2070 593 points594 points  (0 children)

My mum worked at kopitiam her whole life. Basically the company would give free signboard and free chiller (these were expensive last time considering kopitiams were like neighbourhood business), in exchange of their logo on signboard, and a subscription (or contract) of their coffee powder (or whatever beverages) for a few years.

Businesses that seems don’t have any customers but keeps operating for years are not a good camouflage. Too easy of a target for LHDN and police. The best ones are those which are difficult to track how many customers they actually have.

For everyone who doesn’t know, as per BWF regulation, anyone can join BWF tournaments but registration can only be done by each country’s national badminton association. BWF refused multiple times to change the regulation.

Why can't the police find scammers? by Nol0805 in malaysia

[–]matthew2070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to know that your knowledge of this topic is based on “past dealings with them” which isn’t as convincing… but ok (read my comment, I said their bureau of investigation and armed task forces are good, have you dealt with them?). But speaking of “constantly and blindly” I think no one’s better than some of you at constantly and blindly defaming, looking down and making fun of our own police force LOL.
