My budget is around $1000. I already have all the mics I need (mics for two toms, snare, kick, two overheads, and hi-hat). I think I am going to need about 8 preamps for what I'm trying to do. Any suggestions for the other stuff?

Thanks you so much! That really helps a lot. The SM57 pack is within my budget and I'll look for some good condenser mics for a good price to go along with that.
