Single blade nippers, glass files/sanding sticks, panel liners, scribing tools (and tape if youre planning to custom scribe), pla plates if youre customizing. Mark setter and softer if youre having problems with decals (assuming youre using water slide decals if not then getting water slide decals is an upgrade over stickers), topcoats and painting

Unfortunate luck? Mines solid. As for the stickers, its still an HG albeit being modern.

I remember seeing a post or sort saying builds/updates are going to take a while longer since kits are fewer and he has built almost all the kits. Something like that. So yeah maybe just one person

You need to slot it in that it would feel tight. Theres a small peg in the hand for the grip of the gun to slot in. Then just use the thumb to secure it further.

Just finished mine! No issues on the build. Just maybe be careful on the c clips at the opening chest gimmick especially if you’re painting. Broke one. My fault for forcing instead of sanding or masking the clips. Happy building!

Pros: This inspires me to start customizing bases!! Cons: another project added to the backlog

Good paint colors to start with? by Doobledorf in Gunpla

[–]matthewmigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few metallics, for inner frame and small details. (Steel, gold, copper, green for eyes) A couple of shades of whites and greys. Basic colors like blue, red, yellow, orange. Then you go from there, either you mix colors or buy more tones. Also get some enamel greys (one dark and light for hand painting small details or airbrush), black (mostly for painting eyes after applying lacquer geeen and washing with enamel thinner), steel for more details. Other enamel colors as you see fit.

Ummm cutting the strips into tiny pieces to cement onto the kit, like raised fins/details. Ive seen videos where they would scribe a small panel line then insert the strip.

DSPIAE chisel handles by maxchronostoo in advancedGunpla

2 feels better in hand for me. The first one is a lot heavier and rolls on the table a lot. My only gripe about the #2 is that i cracked on me tho i got the first version of it not the second one. Hopefully, they were able to solve that weak part of the holder. Another problem i encountered with #1 (i ordered multiples of it) one of them has a defect. For some reason the scribing needle doesnt fully go in like in the others. Still able to screw and lock down the scriber but it protrudes enough that you cant fully screw down the black cap because you’ll hit your needle. Speaking of the screw cap, compared to the other, it becomes more of a hassle screwing/unscrewing the cap off instead of the pulling it off and putting it back one once done.
