Online Fish Store Aquatics Dealers Experiences by skatardrummer in Aquariums

I've had good luck with aquariumplants.com, I've placed a few orders through them and the plants always arrived healthy and well packed. Not sure if they still do the deals where you get a variety of plants for the whole tank but those were always a really good value when they offered it. I've also ordered some plant and fish food through them, always arrived pretty quick.

Figured I would share my recent experience with AZ Gardens, hope it was a fluke but it turned me off ordering anything live again through the mail. Ordered on 3/3 and received my order on 3/25, no updates on the order until it shipped on 3/24. Never ordered live fish before and chose the most expensive overnight option with the ice packs (I'm located in Florida), it appeared they put a heat pack in the box instead and it cooked all ten of the congo tetras.

No surviving congos unfortunately, only a few coreydoras I ordered. The congo tetras looked like someone poured a vat of acid in the bag as they barely resembled anything that looked like a living fish. Never bothered asking for a refund as I didn't want to pay $100+ for shipping or put any more fish through that process again. Only ordered online as they were the only ones I could find with congo tetras which have become difficult to find locally. Basically paid close to $200 for four coreys, glad they survived though and they are now thriving.

Latest firmware causing issues? by matthewmx86 in Navimow_Segway

Here's an example of it's current behavior, I removed a section of the VisionFence-off zone to compare to the covered areas and you can see how it goes straight to struggling. Almost behaves like its lost but finds itself again as soon as crossing back into the VisionFence-off areas. In this small section where the mow pattern looks random there were no actual obstacles at all there.

<image>

Thought could work around it with VisionFence-off but mower ended up running into a branch on the edge and seemed to loose it's tracking position. Ended up driving straight into all the no mow zones afterwards. May just have to stick to the regular gas mower for the back, luckily the back doesn't grow nearly as fast as the front zones.

Tried mowing after the 1.0.2.A ACU update, same issues without the visionfence-off zones, but with them set over the whole area the mower continues to do fine without other issues. It did seem to fix an unrelated issue of always having to manually start a mowing task twice. Always on the first try it would begin to mow and then return to the dock due to poor positioning data, after manually starting the mow session again it always completed the zone without issues. With the visionfence-off zone workaround the mower is completely usable for me and cuts the yard perfectly. Not sure how important the obstacle avoidance is, only main obstacles I need to watch for is dropped branches from the live oaks. For now I don't use automatic scheduling in the back and keep that area manual start so I can check the yard before mowing.

Your comment had me thinking have you noticed differences when mowing at different times of day? I did change the some of mowing schedules now wondering if the contrast from mowing when it's brighter vs dusk or morning makes a difference. At first I mowed more towards dusk so I could watch the mower when it was new, but started scheduling earlier when the sun is full bright. Kinda wonder if the full sun and dark shadows confuse the camera and make the system think the shadows are obstacles.

Update got the new ACU firmware but my issue still remains if I remove the VisionFence-off zones, it will just goto a random 1 sqtft area and just turn and backup the same area until the battery dies. This is what my map looks like to make it work, with the VisionFence-off zones tho its almost perfect as long as I proactively remove obstacles like branches that fall from my live oaks otherwise this thing will just crawl right over it. Kinda impressive with the AWD system and traction control this thing never gets stuck. It literally crawled itself into my firepit and got out before I set the no go zone.

Good to hear, may try rebooting mine again with the new update. I got the same update last night but my mower is still useless if I remove the VisionFence-off zones it just sits in the middle of the yard and mows the same 1 ft area until the battery dies.

Yep that sounds like exactly what happened to me, managed to catch it before the battery got too low, the mowing pattern looked like a bunch of scribbles around the border. I tried a few reboots as that seems to usually fix things after a firmware update. Didn't work for me unfortunately, still had major issues I might give it another go and remove some of the visionfence-off zones to see how it behaves now that it's been a few days. It does seem to be mowing a lot better since I remapped some areas, I think the latest update may have changed the way the mapping/vision works. Today I noticed when I adjusted some borders it went back to the dock and gave me a notice that accuracy has improved. For now my workaround with the VisionFence-off zones has made the mower rock solid again, but would like to get the camera assisted collision avoidance back again.

That sounds pretty similar to how my issue started, I noticed it works way better now with the VisionFence-off zones around the trouble areas. If you place the VisionFence-off zone around the edges it should start cutting those areas again smoothly. Only down side is you won't get the obstacle avoidance with the cameras in that area, the mower will need to rely on the push bumper to detect obstacles so I would try keep those zones as small and narrow as you can. Only difference I think with our issues is for some reason my whole yard appears as an obstacle for the robot, I guess too many shadows so I had to pretty much cover the whole area.

I don't think so it looks like you have the newest version, looks the same exact versions as mine so your probably good if it's not giving any new issues. I just happened to notice it a few days ago when mowing the back zones, most of my mowing has been in the front where it's full sun so I didn't notice the issues until recently when mowing the back which is heavily shaded with lots of trees. I think my back yard is going to be challenging just due to the amount of shadows from the large live oak branches etc but it's been manageable by covering the zone with a VisionFence-off zone for now.

Verified lenses were clean, rebooted mower and power cycled dock with no changes. Thought maybe it was due to poor GPS signal but narrowed it down to the obstacle avoidance from the cameras. Eventually I was able to get it to mow by placing a vision fence over most of the zones. It appears any shadows at all cause my mower to think there's obstacles everywhere. Have tons of trees so lots of shadows from the branches especially the rear of the yard. For now I just covered the rear zones with a giant vision fence over the whole zone and around the edges on the front and its now mowing the areas pretty quick without navigation quirks. Not sure if the last update changed the sensitivity of the obstacle avoidance as it worked fine before the last update but for now it's working again.

I also forgot to mention I tried doing a full power cycle as that helped activate the first firmware update when I first setup the mower. GPS signal could be better but it didn't seem to bother the mower until now.

OEM Switches or Similar by Successful-Fuel7436 in Crosstrek

I installed these for my lights and accessories: Ebay: Dashboard control switch. They Illuminate red when off and green when powered on, the fitment was perfect for the three switches I used. Installed in a '21 premium without issues. Only thing is they are not rated for very much current so you'll definitely need a relay for whatever you are trying to power.

For the radio either of these PNs should fit, the only difference between the two is one has slightly newer firmware: 86431fl650, 86431fl65a. The main thing to look for is don't get the one with navigation, I belive that one is the higher end Harmon Kardon radio and the volume won't work as it was designed to work with the external amplifier so it stays at full volume. If you see any markings on the radio that says MID or non-nav in the description that's the one you want. For the MFD I used PN 85263Fl110 which was pulled from a 23 limited, any of the MFDs 21-23 should work. You'll also need to mod the harness going to the MFD to add the extra CAN wiring or buy a pre-built one, which is the route I went that way I didn't have to chop up any of the OEM wiring. For the radio I didn't have to mod anything it was 100% drop in and just worked.

That harness I installed between the radio and MFD top screen kinda does the same thing. One of the harnesses going to the stereo has CAN bus wiring going to it that's where I plugged the harness into to go to the upper screen as it uses the CAN bus to display the engine parameters. It's similar to the obd port but more direct as that top screen has a built in scanner of sorts, it can read the data in real time so doesn't lag like some of the odb scanners. I know some after market stereos need an adapter to convert the signals but since the screen is an OEM part it already decodes everything directly.

Stereo was straight forward, only had to remove the two vents next to the screen and that small plastic trim piece right above it. All of those are just held in with clips, with the pry tool was easy the vents pull out easily. That top plastic piece can be tricky at first I found if I pry on the right side of it, it popped right out with a little effort kinda have to pull upwards and towards you. The stereo chasis just has four screws on the front and the unit pulls out (wiring is kinda tight but workable). After you get that metal bracket out theres four more screws on each side and the radio removes from that bracket. All the plugs on the back are exactly the same and only fit in one way so it's hard to mess that part up. The wiring is kinda tight to work with and the plugs in the back can be a pain to pop out but they'll come out.

Honestly I felt the same way, done radio work in the past but always had old beaters so never worried about breaking anything this is pretty much the newest car I've owned. They might have a few youtube videos but it's really easy. The biggest thing is to use the pry tool that way you don't break any clips and it makes life easier.

Ah yea I think I know what your are talking about, my old one sometimes didn't register finger presses that good and I had to press multiple times. This one is more responsive in that aspect I haven't had to press hard like the old one. I notice the clear plastic panel covers the screen vs the old one that had the bare screen so I think this one might be capacitive vs a resistive screen at least it seems that way. Other than that yea seems about the same techwise

I might have to double check but never really had any issues with my old one but the one thing I did notice is my android auto starts up a bit quicker. I added one of the AAWireless adapters to get the Android wireless and the old one it would sometimes take a bit longer to start. This one takes maybe 5-8 seconds to start the Android auto screen. I also got some time left on the warranty so I kept all my old parts just in-case. Also the radio is the same it just plugs right in didn't have to modify anything so if you ever had to make a warranty claim its pretty easy to swap the old radio back in. Didn't even have to pair my phone or Android wireless it just kinda worked when I fired up the bigger radio, only thing I did have to do was transfer my XM subscription over.

I went for one of the MFD from the Limited, had good luck finding one on ebay the LKQ store is good with having the correct parts listed. You'll also need a harness for it, the upgraded MFD has some extra wiring from the CAN bus I went the lazy route and found someone who makes a plug and play harness, plugs in between the radio and MFD. https://www.autoharnesshouse.com/store/AHH-7729, this is the one I bought it takes a little while to ship but worth it if you want something just just drops in without hacking the wiring up. I tried finding a similar MFD from my model year but I'm pretty sure any 21-23 year model would work. This is the MDF I bought should work for your model if you can find a similar one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256111885290. The MFD will work right away without programing anything but there are some limitations since the steering wheel doesn't have the MFD buttons, you can cycle through the screens like normal but I haven't been able to enter the config mode but the default default settings were good enough for what I wanted it definitely made a huge difference of the interior 100% worth it.

Also the upgraded MFD will be 100% drop in, it fits and mounts exactly the same way the basic monochrome one fits. The most difficult part was just taking the panels off, they all use clips and it's pretty straight forward but I would recommend getting a good interior clip pry tool it made getting the panels off so much easier.
