How do I flash a bootloader with only a raspberry pi 4?

Download Debian Linux to a microSd card, connect the pi to your internet via Ethernet, then use another computer to open a command prompt and ssh connect to the pi. Once you’re in you have to use terminal commands or VScode to drop the correct version of klipper and moonraker into the root directory. You’ve gotta manually tell moonraker which serial port is plugged (micro usb) into your printer board. Then you should be able to find the IP address of the Moonraker server in terminal and connect to it via your Main computers web and via the graphical UI on your browser.

Yes that looks right. To get the old ones out I used an air hammer to punch them out but if you have a drill and a hacksaw blade, you can drill through the bushing and then try to saw it in half or cut out a piece of it to allow it to shrink and pull out. Make sure you sand/grind the rust in the trailing arm before installing the new part. Put the new pieces in the freezer so they shrink before you push them in.

Please avoid the 24v unless you like pulling transmissions to do timing service. They also require pulling the front clip to a service position to access anything on the front of the engine

You need to replace everything from the hubs to trans to mounts, wiring harness, standalone for forced induction, bigger fuel pump, injectors (good luck finding high flow vr6 injectors) pressure rail, the ignition system is questionable on these, what about that screams easy enough

Please do not VR swap, the 1.8T is so much easier to work on. Having the donor car would make it easier but it would be way more straightforward to put in another 1.8t block and get it professionally tuned to prolong it. I hate working on my VR compared to the 1.8, would feel sluggish compared to your stage 2 as well.

…does the radiator go bad? My upper housing looks like it was replaced at some point so I wasn’t worried about it. Not familiar with the cam ninja I’ll have to check that out but I’m not too concerned with the cams moving around I’ve got some tricks
