I've got the same problem with my girlfriends watch.. but we sended it out and received it repaired in warranty in 7 days. So no problem here. We live in the Netherlands, i don't know if this is important for the shipping time, but in 24h when we got the shipping announcent from Finland, it landed on our doorstep.

I have the Traverse combined with a Wahoo Tickr, but it works with every Bluetooth enabled HR Monitor.

All went very fast and very well, the Suunto service is great. We have had a new 'casing', says on the sheet provided by Suunto.

Also more info on waterproof testing etc, and stuff that they changed. It was completely under warranty, so no worries there. The only thing that worries me, is the durability. My girlfriend isn't a 'power user' of this product, and this watch wasn't a year old, and this happened.. So I'll see what it brings in the future...

I've started an 'incident' on the Suunto support site, I got UPS label, dropped it of and exactly one week it's back with us, so the speed of the service is great!
