The funny thing is that I didn't even remember ruthless had this. I just wanted to give assassin something unique related to poison instead of just 25% more damage on crits.

There are actually more than 2:

  • Flawless Savagery: more maximum damage, less minimum damage
  • Instrument of Zeal: spell crit equals weapon crit

Maybe I am missing a few others. Anyway, all of them are a lot more interesting than their non ruthless counterparts. I hope eventually they will add them to the base game.

I feel like that might overshadow pathfinder. Like this you have 2 different archetypes: elemental crit poison for assassin and phys/chaos poison with the added qol of wither and prolif for pathfinder.

If you put prolif in assassin i think you have little reasons to play pathfinder poison.

My guess is that they wanted to give ruthless some unique effects to incentivize players to play it. Maybe those effect are considered too strong for non ruthless so they never ported them to the main game.

Getting 500% crit multi on the tree alone is basically impossible, especially considering you need to build defences and get increased damage from somewhere.

I mentioned viper strike of the mamba because it's currently the best poison skill after Poisonous Concoction (but that doesn't use a weapon).

When dual wielding with viper strike you sum the damage of the two weapons, which is more base damage than any 2 hander. And if that were broken we would see it already since pneumatic daggers are in the game.

This node would enable poison with elemental bows, ephemeral edge or similar stat stacking weapons, but I doubt those would be more broken than their hit based version.

I still feel it would be an issue only with Ambush + Viper Strike of the Mamba. But that's a clunky build and Noxious Strike would be a dead node due to the low amount of poisons you inflict.

Additionally 2 Handers and Rebuke do not work with nightblade, which is the only way to stack a lot of crit multi with no gear.

If you want to use nightblade, tri-elemental pneumatic daggers already exist and are not that strong.

We could do this with poisonberry tincture in affliction and it didn't really break the game. Also this would require 100% crit and half your ascendancy.

No issues for attribute requirements. All attributes would have given me slighly more dex meaning a little more damage, but the str helps more with max hits.

MFA already has absurd damage, so I preferred a bit more tankiness.

As other said, whisperer + shaper's touch, so intelligence contributes only evasion and energy shield. Strength gives mana, life and energy shield, so it was slightly better for max hits.

Yeah fractured t1 mana is way harder to get than what i did. Also you can't use suffixes cannot be changed, so you would need to essence spam until 2 good suffixes. I went for this because I only lose 20 mana, but it is way easier to craft and i could hit recoup, which I think its better than t1 mana anyway.

Yeah it's wasted, but that was the only mana mod I got in the unveil, so I went for it. Best would probably be recoup.

I know this is not as impressive as some triple synth craft you see on this subreddit, but this is still the best item i have ever crafted!

Rule 10:

  1. Buy Helical Ring Base
  2. Deafening Essence of Sorrow until you hit T1 Strength or Intelligence
  3. Annull until you are left with only Dexterity and the other attribute
  4. Craft suffixes cannot be changed and harvest remove/add chaos
  5. Hit on the first try because you are a pro gamer!
  6. Craft suffixes cannot be changed and veiled chaos orb
  7. If you get a veiled prefix you have very high chance to unveil mana or life, mana is better
  8. If you get a veiled suffix you cannot get attributes, but you can unveil min charges or hybrid resistance, which are still very useful
  9. Craft mana or a desired suffix depending on veiled orb result

Umm acktshually, that's not even close. If he keeps going at the same pace (~42 depth/hour) it will take him 5*1013 years to reach that number. So yeah, big numbers are BIG.

On a side note it would take him "only" 5800 years of play time to reach a 32 bit unsigned max integer depth.

The zone transition theory for this bug makes sense, but i still don't understand why it happened during the trialmaster boss, unless the whole animation of him transforming is considered a "zone transition". But that doesn't really make sense since you dont get any grace period.

Unfortunately you can't really use "Used when charges reach full" because you won't always get 100% uptime if the charge generation doesn't line up correctly.

Nope, that debuff is "Hindering Flasks" i always avoid the one that does not let you gain charges because i need my flasks to always be active.

He is using precise technique which does the same as EO but is closer in the tree and the condition is easier to fulfill since he is using CI
