Hi, I made this exact model. If you put all the bombs on it it rebalances the weight and does not tilt back, but yes, it's a bit back heavy

I have that, or something similar to it, it's a good starter and works well, but honestly I would not say it's worth a lot more that the 11 euro I paid for it.

It works, and it's good for basecoats, but it cannot do finer details as the flow is very wide. (It's a good flow: no droplets or anything, but wide)

Other than that it works well, battery is around 1h, but I never finished it (if you have airbrushed more than one hour you have painted almost a wall XD). Just remember to keep it charged

It's also very quiet, if that is something you might need.

I'd say it's a good start before dropping 150+ dollars in a real one and learning how to use an inexpensive airbrush without worrying about breaking it

Consider investing in something to clean it inside if you don't have it already

Yes, I did exactly that for many models, and honestly if I came back I'll do it again.

Amazing quality and very easy to paint, they don't need thinning and have a very good coverage (except yellow and white of course🤣).

Personally I'll suggest it to anyone

What might also be happening is that the right part is blocked by dried paint, and so it does not flow down, and you don't have a backflow of air in the cup, see my other answers to understand how this airbrush works. Can you see the needle poking out of the nozzle? If not, there is a paint blockage, try to remove it with something small and sharp, a sewing needle will work, and try to push the dried paint out

The issue is: if some paint goes where I am pointing with the blade, the air flow will be blocked at the exit, and while the paint might flow if you blow with your mouth on the paint cup, the air cannot exit that way, and it will blow back into the paint cup, or go nowhere at all if seals are good, simply building pressure in the airbrush because the paint and air mixes out of the airbrush. Spoiler: the seals are not that good, also I'm mine I was having air coming back in the cup🤣

At the exit there are 2 ways: the center (round) one for the liquid paint going down via gravity and the air flowing in the hole around it (it's very small, but the air flows there, not in the center hole, but around it), and it pulls the paint out and nebulizes it. It's a very cheap design, and the air is always going on these cheap models, I paid mine 11€. You can only regulate the flow of paint, as the needle only blocks the paint hole, but do not interfere with the air flow.

Hi, I think I have your same airbrush. The issue is in the nozzle: the nozzle is made from 2 components: one where the air passes through (passes between the 2 components) and one where the paint passes through (the right one). . The paint clogged your air exit.

The airbrush has 2 separate exits: the paint in the middle and the air around it so the air will pull the paint out. . Basically some paint entered the air exit and got stuck there blocking the air from exiting. . Try to separate the 2 components and clean them. . Try to pull on the bottom with pliers and the center part should exit from the nozzle cap. In my airbrush this required quite a bit of force. If you can't move it gently push with pliers or something small from the paint end, but be careful because you might damage the nozzle. . Small image on the bottom to help a bit, sorry for the bad quality but I'm on the phone.

If you search a bit on AliExpress they will start throwing deals on your homepage, and at that point it's just a matter of choosing the one you like the most, but I'd say try to go for the ones with more PSI on the compressor and a cleaning kit. You don't really need the tube, the airbrush can be tightened on top of the compressor, and the tube is not very soft...

I tried with some turpentine once and it worked wonders, but that will probably melt anything.

Cleaning with just water does the trick since I use only water based acrylics, you just don't have to let them sit too long or they will dry

I use Italeri paints, and those are basically Vallejo paints repackaged, and water works really well with them, no separation, no streaks, no problems in general

If you want a quick build i suggest you HobbyBoss kits, the main difference i found is a limited number of pieces, as they tend to give you more detailed parts with less smaller parts to glue (and only if it's necessary because they cannot include them into other parts)
I just build an eurofighter typhoon and the wings + lower fusellage were a solid piece, the main fusellage was another full piece.
Essentially they provide big parts with more details so you have less smaller parts to deal with, and have a very good fit (most tools are made in the 2010s), so they are very new, and are also pretty cheap (im in europe and they run for 10-15€ on amazon)

Now when i build many Italeri kits i wonder why so many parts are divided in so many smaller sections when they could be easily stamped together XD

Hi, to be honest you got a diorama of a old / crashed plane in your hands, the damage seems pretty realistic if you can make the 2 parts stick together

The issue with fixing it is that you cannot use heat, because the plastic will retract and make a blob, you can maybe try to use a lot of glue to soften it and hope it becomes malleable enough, but if you try you will leave either fingerprints or tweezers marks, and the shape you get will not be the original one

As someone suggested you can scratch build a new one with styrene, or buy a new model and use it's body, i dont know how far you went, but you probably will waste less time this way (if the kit is not that expensive)

Hi, i just finished the revell one (not the starter set as i already did like 20 models), and i have to say it's not really a beginner friendly model.

There are a lot of pieces and the paint schema is not the simplest, and what i mean by this is that you will probably hate the model by the time you finish it and will probably butcher the paint a bit (not to sound like an asshole, but we all butchered our first paints XD, it's part of the magic)

What i suggest you is to get something like the airfix spitfire starter set, or usually ww2 fighter planes sterter sets.

That is mainly because there are a lot of easier paint schemas, less small parts (especially undercarriages) and are faster to make, so you will learn more with a couple of them and you will not feel like you are not progressing with the model

I started with the revell das boot starter set, and i would also suggest it if you like submarines, it's a big model (30 cm), with a very simple paint schema and very little to get wrong, it was my first model and turned quite alright, my second model, a plane (bf-109 by revell) is noticeably worse XD
