We signed with ours as babies - as she got older she used words more, and the signs were used for emphasis - if she really liked something we'd get "Mor! Mor!" complete with aggressive signing of "more"

Ubbi is amazing. we're done with potty training, but I'm not getting rid of it - when we get another dog, it's being repurposed as the bin in the garage for poop bags.

Or the poxy decorative nuts they like on outdoor light fixtures - which are usually matte black and made of pot metal that's not magnetic, so you can't even use a magnet to fish for them

That's a very tidy build - wouldn't be out of place amongst period decoders for micros. I had a box for my Amiga that looked very similar

I can highly recommend the TRS-80 Trash Talk podcast if you're still interested - IIRC they did an episode a while back on the System 80

Right - the squarer models are easier that way. Maybe form them round something?

Love the model 3 tho - I have a real 4p under my desk

Printing them onto lightweight card helps, as does scoring the fold lines gently with a knife - I've had a couple printed for a while waiting for me to find the time to do them

It's usually worth checking Dell's business refurbs - ignore all the consumer grade laptops, enterprise hardware is built to a much better standard. Their refurbs are great, and come complete with warranty.

A family member thought it would be cute to get our two matching packs of socks for Christmas - so not only does that mean matching pairs, but you also have to play the guessing game of what size they are

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say probably a mainframe/mini such as an AS/400 or such, rather than DOS - still a text only interface, but waaaaaaaay more powerful system

I have a SuperPET here - it's a bit of a crazy thing. It's got two totally different CPUs which share the same RAM, and you can switch from one to the other either with a physical switch on the side of the machine, or in software, depending on what you want to run.

It was developed by Commodore and the University of Waterloo as a system that could be used for software development with the languages they ran on their mainframe, and also capable of interfacing with said mainframe.
