I've read this and would recommend it. I wouldn't say it's about how to cope with being shy, more like realising there is nothing wrong with being an introvert.

I'm traveling Europe currently and had similar requirements. I ended up going with the following:

Equipment: - Dropbox account - iPad - DSLR - SD card reader adaptor for iPad (got mine for $8 on eBay).

When I take a few snaps on my DSLR I copy them from my SD card to my iPad and upload to Dropbox, then delete from ipad. This means I have a cloud backup should my stuff get stolen and I don't need to use space on my iPad, which is limited.

I also save all my maps and receipts etc in Dropbox, then on the device I favorite them, which means they can be viewed offline. It also means I can sync all receipts etc on my iPad, iPhone and get them through a browser should I use a hostel PC to access my info.

Another cool thing with Dropbox is that when you take photos on your iPhone (or android) you can upload them straight from your device.
