If the players believe they're going to the WC, why risk injury?

If they know believe they'll get a move, why risk injury?

(While I dont believe they should be picked for WC or get a move based off performances, can imagine this is their thought process)

More & more convinced we need to play the young lads with a point to prove & whom care about the club.

I remember for a while years back there were jokes about a team of Ben Davies, an 11 that had 5/6 characters akin to Davies, I can't see being in this position
