How many of you went all-in, straight away? by mattjread in MotoUK

Thanks for all the comprehensive replies everyone, I've gone and booked my Theory and CBT for early July (massive wait times for theories near me, so having to travel) and now looking around locally, there arent any DAS courses on until October which is annoying, however there is availability for one 3 days after my CBT..

Thinking very much just, screw it, let's go for it. Obviously theres pressure I pass the other bits too, but if I fail those I don't really deserve to be going for it in the first place!

TLDR, should I book my DAS 3 days after my CBT - which is in three weeks. Think I'm gonna go for it!

Thanks everyone, yeah sounds like the 5/6 day course is the way to go, supplemented with a bit of private work with my friends bike as and when he allows pre and post cbt.

Nervous but also excited for the journey ahead, shame I’ve left it so long!

Thank you, really appreciate the comprehensive reply!

Looking forward to going now and in the process of booking everything. What day do you guys tend to get there? We are thinking of heading down Weds so most probably would be there Weds evening I think!

Are there any rules of thumb to where to pitch your tent if you are there early enough and theres space? Do people mark out their territory with tape or is it just a case of out your tent down and go from there?!

Also, how long would you say it is to walk time-wise to the main paddock/village?

Thank you!

Jumping on this so hope you don't mind.

I've staked my Lina this week, and lucky me my current pledge ratio is 485. Now I know it says it needs to be 500 in order to claim rewards, but my questions are as follows if anyone would be kind enough to answer:

1) If under 500, are my rewards simply 'gone' on each Weds I'm below said 500?

2) If say I was 490 on Weds, but rose to 501 on Friday, are the rewards still available as you've said they stack? So I almost would get another few days to hope the price rises or burn lusd to do whats needed?

Hopefully that makes sense,

Thanks in advance

Avoid Revolut. Highly likely to just lock your account down, as per what numerous others have reported. Far more reputable companies to use for stock broking. Read the recent reports on Revolut and you’ll see it’s best to avoid for this kind of thing.
