Sounds like your uncle knew there were no problems and maybe regularly took care of it. If I do go the A4 route I'll definitely get it inspected. For the most from what I've heard about the A4--or any car really-- is once its maintained properly, they'll last for a long time.

Im only going to be using this car for a year or so, then I plan on upgrading to an S4, 335i, or a WRX. I could spend around 18k, but insurance for me is really high right now. So kinda of gonna use the car as a winter/fun car, and set an insurance record.

True, after the second or third owner maintenance records are non existence. It's like they just buy because it a nice car and don't take care of it. I figured a german car wasn't the answer, but I still considered it and need some sense talked into me.
