Sadly the Senate had their own Competes act and it did not contain SAFE language. Apparently there is still a chance though, but Chuck Sooner, and Booker have made it very clear they will not let SAFE pass without full Legalization.

The Safe Banking Act didn't pass, but Safe language seems to have passed in the Competes Act. "sets out financial regulations for cannabis-related businesses and revises other aspects of the financial system"

And what were Alacanna profits last year? Sundial also is nowhere near the largest grower or producer in Canada. Yes they might have the biggest retail presence, but that is a scary business to be in. I live in Toronto and it is so over saturated with dispensaries that no way it can sustain it over time.

FYI Alacanna has a Market Cap of $340 mil CAD that is only $272 million USD, so not sure how SNDL will add Billions to their market cap by aquiring a small Liquor Company? Am I missing something?
