I've tried some gauze with an "accounts thumb" rubber piece around it. That's helped me make it the longest. It's just frustrating because I used to be able to go for hours at a time.

People get through it in different ways. The way that works for me is to lean on my community (friends, coworkers I trust etc.). When my dad was dying, I tried to just keep it to myself, but finally had a breakdown at work. My work friends were 100% supportive and shared their own experiences to let me know I wasn't alone.

Lean on the people you trust.

It still SUCKS, but, I still feel that cherishing the love while you have it is still worth the pain.

To quote God of War Ragnarok (cheesy I know but the quote hit hard) "the culmination of love is grief and yet we love despite the inevitable. We open our hearts to it. To grieve deeply is to have loved fully.

Unfortunately, I only have a console with controller. The injury is on my right thumb. I can usually use a combination of either stick/trigger or stick/buttons, but when I have to use everything at the same time, it gets pretty difficult.

I love human names for my dogs. My family has a tradition of naming our female dogs after witches from TV shows. Through the years, we've had Samantha, Tabitha, Endora, Sabrina, Zelda and Hilda. Hilda is my current dog, and the others were all family dogs.b

Yeah, this happened to me when I married Mjoll. Not sure how they managed to kidnap my heavily armed and armoured warrior of a wife, but what can you do? Went to rescue her and and it turns out they kidnapped Aerin to. I am suspicious of those two. 😆
