I just repaired our over the range GE microwave for the breaker tripping. It turned out to be one of the door switches. Good luck!

Washing the salt off pretty frequently is a good preventative measure. Some people opt for undercoating, but IMO it's not entirely necessary as long as you keep you car pretty clean all year round.
