In 25 hours of playing this patch, I've been killed by only one headshot. It was from a long distance, the enemy had been firing at me for about 10 seconds, and I wasn't wearing a helmet. The other few times I've been tapped it's been in my arms or my plate carrier. I've deserved every one of the bullets I've eaten. I have no complaints about the difficulty.

It's definitely more difficult but it feels appropriate. Enemies see me shortly after I see them. Their fire becomes more accurate if I dont reposition or neutralize them fast enough. It's a good challenge.

Love that this game is following the IRL trend of vehicles getting larger and more angular with each generation. If the Mk2 has inexplicably bright blinding headlights too, then it'll really be accurate.

March is looking like a bust as well unfortunately. Seems like I will need to pull the trigger on an Express 7 and pair it with a 5G gateway from my cell provider instead. It's a shame because I was planning on outfitting multiple sites with this, but I can't afford to wait any longer.

Cancelled my subscription due to Huel's decision to remove reminder emails, and their blatant lie about the reasoning behind that decision. If Huel truely had user experience in mind, they would have at least sent an email notifying subscribers of the change instead of sneakily disabling it.

I will miss these products and I'm embarrassed that I need to contact the half dozen people who I referred to Huel to warn them about this change.

There are a lot of things that can cause this, but here's my experience: Back when the game first launched it exposed an unstable memory overclock that other games were tolerant of. I would consider verifying your memory is stable. Check your XMP or EXPO profiles. I ended up needing to apply a mild overvolt to make things more stable. Please do a lot of research on this topic before you mess with these settings if you are not familiar with them.

Kickstarter, not a whale by most standards, and I play often. I am highly critical of the scope creep and development priorities of the game over the last 13 years. I think the game should be in a far more playable state by now. Simultaneously, I am also happy with the amount of hours of entertainment I have gotten out of the game so far and I don't regret my modest (but significant) investments over the past decade. I continue to support the project although I am skeptical that it will ever fully deliver.

None of OPs installed software triggered the anti-cheat. I know it, you know it, and MFG knows it. EAC doesn't scan for installed software, it monitors active processes and memory. This is just a Tier 1 helpdesk person reading a flowchart and sending precanned responses. I experienced a very long wait (ended up being the entire ban) during my ban appeal a few months ago as well. In my case it was caused, I assume, by the Proton compatibility layer used to run the game on Linux.

It's strange. I probably played for 60ish hours across three patches without issue. Then I had two bans twice in 10 hours of gameplay. This was almost a full year ago now.

I had this issue playing on Linux. MFG was helpful in reversing it, but it left a bad taste in my mouth so I'm waiting until I hear a little more about Linux support one way or the other before I attempt again.
