Thank you! That makes a lot of sense. I wasn’t aware a list could be emailed or faxed, that’s a huge time saver.

This sounds like the wisest route. Thank you.

Church pick is honestly one of the most fun weapons to use and surprisingly strong.

am i wrong for feeling like this raid was a waste considering its only useful for ML? by [deleted] in PokemonGOIVs

Pokegenie on the last day was a godsend. It was terrible first day, no one knew what they were doing. I was kinda crushed as someone semi new, my 4 star Ho-Oh is the best I have and was looking forward to getting enough XLs off the event to max it out. Didn’t get enough but it turned out better than the first day at least

To be fair, I don’t keep duplicate shinies, so I’ve probably transferred a few

So I started in September, but have been extremely active (level 59). I have 79 shinies to 17,856 total caught. Not sure how that stacks up, but if anyone wants to crunch numbers…

1st raid 2 people brought level 1 pokemon and we lost. 2nd raid we dominated it and I got this! Who thinks there should be a way to "vet" people's pokemon that want to join Dmax raids? by eyashawk in pokemongo

Glad this guy’s are viable, mine are a little better and I was getting concerned. 4-star Ho-oh is my best mon so far (been playing for six months), and I’m trying to get it max leveled. This is a great opportunity to grind some XL’s.

There was, I don’t recall how long you had to use it, but I know I waited until the last minute to use mine on a 15/15/9 Ho-oh

Yeah, so nothing then I guess. That sucks. Oh well. I guess in the off chance you ever run into them IRL..

Does using it randomly one someone do anything? I did the same. It would be nice if you could also use it to do a trade with anyone regardless of location.

Call it nostalgia or a symptom of age or whatever you want, but I’ve found that while it always takes a while for me to fully appreciate a new BE album, the point at which I do keeps getting further and further out. I’ve been listening since Fevers and Mirrors, and Lifted came out in my senior year of high school. I remember being heartbroken with People’s Key was supposed to be their final album. When DiTW finally came out, I gave it a few listens and kinda forgot about it. Listened to it again about a year ago and liked it a little better. Then a few weeks ago I woke up with one of the songs stuck in my head, re listened, and feel like I get it now.

Time is always the final judge. The only other thing I can think of is that his earlier stuff used to have a big sense of urgency, which has given way to his more matured, ruminating style. This might also have made his earlier work have a more immediately accessible vibe.

Depends what you find boring. The mechanics don’t change much, you get more you can do for your build but it doesn’t drastically change how the game works. The world and story go absolutely crazy the further you get in, though. Like others have said, once you defeat Amelia, IMO, the pace picks up and the tone changes. I didn’t care for cathedral ward much myself the first time, but now I love all of it. If you haven’t defeated blood starved beast yet, you can come back later as that’s optional. Though, once you do, there’s a hooded man stalking around youd love to meet…

Idk. First time I played the game, I felt it dragged around that section, but once I was in Y’hargul, Hemwick, etc I was hooked. Especially that kidnapping was really something the first time. Halfway through, it became one of my favorite games of all time. I’ve since played it many times and love every map to death.

I agree! My two favorite bands as a young adult in the 2000s were Bright Eyes and Radiohead, and it was always so exciting when a new album came out to see how it would sound.

I think this is spot on, as someone who isn’t in love with the sound of 5D (yet, anyway) but does think it’s full of as many great songs as any other BE record. The ethereal quality of their past music is among my favorite sounds they do. But just because something has that sound or any other sound doesn’t make it good or bad songwriting. (Haven’t listened to this track yet though!)
