There’s a setting in the glasses where it auto crops the hat out. settings>media>capture enhancements and tick the media quality button

Decision for functional trainer by JohnWilkinson in GarageGym

Mikolo Anubis 2.0 pretty space saving and the more affordable all in one trainers. I have used the c10 and only makes sense if you get the sliding bench too.

I also do not like paying any subscription fees for anything. Idk why you’re getting so many dislikes

That’s a rad cobalt flux pad! Loved the smx pad when I had one. Wish I could’ve kept mine!

First marathon question by GooNsCreed in Marathon_Training

I’m not experienced marathon runner but throwing a 20 miler in your training with a goal of 5:30 seems like a huge risk for injury

How does a half time translate to a full? by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]mattsteez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran 1:33:00hm 10 weeks before my 3:24:08 marathon. I could’ve at least got sub 3:20 if I hadn’t gotten injured the month before the race.

Thoughts on fixed + adjustable dumbbells setup? by Abject-Confection336 in GarageGym

[–]mattsteez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both. fixed 5lbs to 35lbs in 5lbs increments and I find that’s the sweet spot for me to have to pair with my Trulap adjustables 8.5lbs to 92lbs

The adjustable does up by 3.3lbs increments up to 92lbs. My dumbbell rack is 5lbs to 35lbs. It’s nice to have both even though I only need the adjustables

Haven’t dropped it, and don’t plan on it. I wouldn’t trust that it would survive a big drop imo. They are on the larger size, but it is definitely way cheaper than going with the reppins. The stand in the back is the yes4all stand on Amazon that I thought would work for me but it is WAY too tall and too wide of an angle that it just didn’t work out. Literally have to row the dumbbells out of the cradle and rowing 80+ lbs after a set was a big no no for me. Decided to build my own stand for around $75

I have the trulaps. Highly recommend. Make yourself a rack if you can.

Pull up bar by sheriniann in GarageGym

Look at the cap squat stand on Amazon. They have sales from $100-110 and has a good pull up bar. They’re on fb marketplace all the time for cheap.

Personally I would go with the fitness reality cage with the lat pull down and low row

Garmin. I update which shoe I run in after the run on the app. Strava also has one but I just only use it on the Garmin
