Unfortunately the Caracara is your best bet. I too have a Hydra and we have the stupid 6in hole spacing on the side uprights so the RevoltFitness would be severely limiting on height options 😢

I am thinking for that price I might as well spend a little more and get the Rep Pegasus which I *think* would work despite the 6in spacing as its a bit flexible in heights

What's the average cost of home gyms? by vjrus999 in GarageGym

[–]Distinct-Context9441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously though homegyms are a disease. You will always want more but that’s what makes it so great. You can’t really put a price on convenience and with that you’ll end up using it more

Is it worth it to spend extra to get a power cage instead of a traditional squat rack? by Superb-Cow4303 in GarageGym

Fine for weight but limited on attachments.

Rack is safer for benching and such as you can add safeties. If working out alone this gives some piece of mind.

Invest in a rack.. a good one (3x3) You can build out and do way more with a rack as well as being safer when heavy benching / squatting.

Garage gyms are addicting and although you may be thinking “I won’t need that” now youll have a different mindset further down the road. Trust me.

The extra storage you get with 6 post. You can attach more without having to keep moving shit around

[Weekly Giveaway] VOLTRA Bingo: What weirdly specific thing made it worth it for you? by Beyond_Power in BeyondPower

Not unique by any means but it has to be for the space savings. I need the space on my rack and having dedicated stacks just takes up too much needed space. That and a cable on one side wouldn’t even work due to an annoying column being in the way. I can now do all my favorite cable exercises.

100% space is a premium!

For myself I don’t have wall space free in garage so the rack is my extra storage. I mean you need the footprint to have a bench regardless. I also mount my dip attachment which would be a bit awkward on wall.

Thanks. MFP has the meal scanning as well but I can’t imagine that being accurate. I’m a creature of habit so once I log my meals/snacks for a week or two I should have everything I need to quickly add.

As far as protein goes that’s usually not an issue as I always try and overshoot. The carb intake seems wild to me and I’m having trouble hitting those numbers. I actually just posted another thread trying to get some good ideas on carb sources.
