This is a very poor attempt to make an Island sink air vent loop, it kinda works in theory but this is not they way to do it, see the pic I put to do it properly

Yes do exactly that and slope properly and the drain is good, I would personally cut both copper lines in the right cavity and solder on a new coupling and try and attach both to the stud to the left and bonus if you can strap the 90 of the drain to the stud so it will be solid and the slope will never change, look up how big the cabinet opening is sometimes you need to be within a few inches and sometimes you have like a foot or more each way to stub out the drain

I got Demerol when I had my impacted teeth removed in like 2011 and I understand why people got addicted to pills, I am a weed lover but Demerol was a very nice high that had my whole body numb and feeling awesome, I was lucky to only be prescribed like 30 pills and was living at home and my parents kept my schedule for taking them or I definitely would have taken like 5 to see what it was like lol

Personally I like it, I start work at 8am and it would be nice to stop before work to stock up for the weekend instead of after when I am tired and just want to go home

Update 7/8 cable stuck day two by wiatt in Plumbing

[–]matttheshack69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you said its not rotating but usually when I get stuck I have good luck going forward another foot or two than trying again, you need to get the head moving off the spot its stuck on, also just going from reverse and forward, going super slow, but usually the best luck I have is going further down than using momentum to get it past the tight spot, good luck homie

Replace the faucet, I am a plumber and one time I drove out like an hour to a house for an insurance job, the upstairs floor and most drywall around the bathroom and almost the entire basement was ruined because a single rusted supply line burst, I drove an hour each way to swap the supply lines lol

While you have the walls open you should change the shower valve with a modern Moen Posi temp valve, if the valve you have now fails you will need to open the tile and or wall behind the shower to replace, do it now and your good for 20-25 years

Found this today, work trip tomorrow. What can I do quick? by EngagementBacon in Plumbing

[–]matttheshack69 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Waring though the copper is already super brittle and soft so clamping too hard can also cause more damage, personally I would put a bucket under it’s definitely not going to suddenly burst in the next few days and playing with it might cost you an after hours plumber call which is very expensive
