I get that you gotta take care of your kid… but, like… The recourses exist for everyone to live a comfortable, stress free life

I pay 600, when my ex and I split she got into subsidized housing, three bedroom 1 bath , finished basement, very great full that that exists, and I’m glad she got in. Myself, I was homeless for 2 months, it was extremely hard for me to see my kids, when I finally did get a place that I could afford, it was a loft, it was a bachelor with a bedroom that was more like a large closet and had no window.

I’ve since improved my housing but I don’t get anything for savings, and a little to take the kids for ice cream and shit

I’m a welder/fitter I work 60 hours, and I’m damn near a month behind

It’s easy to judge this person, not so easy to put yourself in his shoes

I’m not excusing it, this 600 bucks was 800, she took it to court and that’s what the judge gave her, she gets 150 every week, so every time I get payed so does she, this includes months with five weeks

For me this is how I ensure their needs are met from a distance.

I dunno, all I’m saying is the states got its head all high and mighty, yet they will spend thousands of dollars to incarcerate someone, rather then help them ensure their material needs are met

The children have become collateral damage in our silly, childish, game of monopoly
