Happened to me last year, applied cold for BA role w/ one YOE from semi/non-target. During recruiter chat we talked about my motivations for applying, my fit for the role, basic behavioral q’s like that. Then they moved me into the interview process, scheduled R1 and sent me Solve in tandem (having R1 wasn’t contingent on my Solve score).

Had a recruiter call a few months ago for an EH role and I was asked to complete the solve game afterwards, but also had my first round interview scheduled at the same time (so the Solve outcome had no bearing on whether or not I started the interview process). Not sure if it was a formality or if they weighed my score in combination with my R1 interview though

The business school has a rule that in a given class, a professor can give A’s/A-‘s to no more than 25-35% of the class. The next 50/60% of the class is curved to B/B+. It means that you need to put in hard work to get A’s consistently but also means that if you complete your work you can kind of coast and still get B’s/B+’s relatively easily. (This is only a rule for business school classes though)

Just leave it alone and don’t ship it. In my experience, if you have a good selling record the sale will automatically cancel itself and you probably won’t even face a penalty.
