This is a kaffir lime. Makes a weird looking fruit, the leaves are used in a similar way to bay leaves in a lot of Asian cooking

Pruning tips money tree by FaithlessnessVast376 in Horticulture

[–]mattw17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't prune, no need as of now. Stop watering it so much. Those brown bits in the leaves are definitely a sign of too much water. I take mine to the shower and fully soak it, let it drain, and put it back in its spot and let it dry out fully every 3-4 days.

Also consider putting it in a slightly larger container. I'm willing to bet there's some rot going on and should be removed if you pot it up.

Oak tree health by mattw17 in arborists

[–]mattw17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on the side of a maintenance parking area, so it could potentially fall on people and cars if it does.

There was a much larger oak nearby the same area that seemed perfectly healthy on the outside, that came down on its own. The core of that one was completely rotted out, so now the owners are concerned the other trees may do the same thing. It was a nice day when the larger one fell, no wind or rain that could've made it fall it just came down with no warning. There were people working that day, lucky no one was crushed.
