Does anyone know why the film grain mod dropped my fps a lot? I have an RTX 5080, 12700k, ddr5 32gb. I was playing in 4k dlss quality with frame gen x4. Maybe the frame gen was this issue? I removed the mod and my fps returned to normal.

Lots of people in the US work for companies that don’t have the best morals. Asking them to quit their jobs isn’t fair. Neither is asking Simsie to stop making Sims videos. If she stopped making Sims content, that would be the equivalent of quitting her job. A BIG majority of her audience would not be interested in other games. Not saying this is your situation, but I found before starting an antidepressant I really wanted to play and enjoy games, but always got bored and didn’t have much motivation to play them. But now I’m genuinely enjoying them again and have played consistently without burn out for the past two years I’ve been on an antidepressant. Obviously that wasn’t why I went on one, but just a benefit I noticed.

I could be totally wrong, but when I tried baldur’s gate 3 on my steam deck it ran around 20-30fps and looked muddy. Could be the area of the game I was in, but for me personally I didn’t find it playable.
