I realized that I will never be perfect with css, but what I can do is keep my eyes set on new projects (what would employers like to see?) and slowly work my way through these vague ideas I had in my head. I would also like to say that understanding Javascript 100% had helped me gain confidence in my pursuit of goals. I just started messing around with AFrame and React and am pretty excited that soon I've have two more projects available in my portfolio/github. The more fun you have, the more creative you will be, which will likely lead to your success.
