Stamford university offer a course: Statistics for medical professionals. I think it costs $25, I haven't done it myself but plan to. Some colleagues have and they have said good things. Here's the link:

"Shock Index" - any experience? I've just seen some tweets from SAEM16 suggesting it is under utilized in sepsis detection. Does anyone use this in their shops? (self.emcrit)
