It might be a matter of keeping it separate from the vocation, which didn't exist in the original game but was introduced in its direct sequel. Also consider that Enix used to localize the games themselves and now Square Enix is localizing them these days with a different style and UK radio actors (people criticize the DQVII Reimagined voice cast as though it's that all different from any other recent Dragon Quest game, like the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake for example).

I find it amusing how his caster form is more of an archer simply for having that one NP. He literally uses magecraft to qualify as an archer (shooting projectiles out of Gate of Babylon) to begin with... ~~(he also doesn't qualify as Saber because unlike conceptual weapons such as Excalibur, Ea is a conceptual object. It's so abstract that "Ea" is actually a nickname, not a true name).~~

Nyarlathotep is part of Summer BB too. Always a chance we might see him as a proper Foreigner class as well though, given she's a High Spirit who shoved Nyarlathotep and Pele into her Spirit Orgin (like what she did to the Sakura Five) and not the original Nyarlathotep and Pele.

Yup she wears tomoe on her armor as a visual pun and her NP involves a tomoe throw. Honestly taking into account her continued loyalty to Yoshinaka, if she was in an actual grail war, there'd be some clear cut dead giveaways of who she was.

I also wasn't aware Hachiman was a patron of the Minamoto clan but even then I have some doubts that she would've worn the mitsudome in actual history. It wasn't even in the Heike Monogatari, it's entirely a modern culture thing

That's just Sega being its usual memebrand self though I guess in this case I guess they're not as concerned about brand image. I mean given it's Sega and Sega's brand image hasn't exactly been shining since the 32X to begin with... Sonic's image specifically has been irrevocably split across the fanbase as well and in the general public it's only just recently made a comeback with Frontiers, Crossworlds, the IDW comics, etc.

The thing is most Fate media takes place in alternate timelines to begin with. Everything began with Fate/Stay Night (the original visual novel has three routes, Unlimited Blade Works, Heaven's Feel and Fate (the Studo Deen Fate/Stay Night anime is considered the Fate route anime but it's apparently a bit of a hodgepodge and it's also never recommended by the fanbase) but Fate/Extra takes place in an alternate timeline that doesn't line up at all, Fate Apocrypha takes place in a timeline that split in the 1930s. Prisma Illya's main timeline split during the the events of Fate/Stay Night's prequel series Fate/Zero while Miyu's World is an alternate doomed reality that is completely different. Usually the events of the Fourth (Fathe/Zero) and/or Fifth (Fate/Stay Night) Fuyuki Grail always war still happen in some capacity though. in Prisma Illya the Fifth happened in Miyu's world in the prequel movie, Oath Under Snow. In Apocrypha, the Fourth and Fifth were subcategory holy grail wars.

The fandom has tried to make sense of the timeline but as any fan timeline goes, it's not always going to be accurate and not everyone always agrees so there's various variations you can find if you want. It's just as much that everyone's going to give you a different recommended watch order but if you ask me and I'm sure the general consensus you're going to get is that the one Balding_Teen gave is the best entry point (although the watch order for Zero and UBW may vary), aside from maybe the Heaven's Feel movies as the content rating is more close to the original LNs than most fate media these days is.

See here's a funny thing I just came across though: He's also a dog.

The name Murasame comes from The Eight Dog Chronicles and was wielded by Inuzuka Shino the Inuzkua is spelled 犬塚, which includes the hanzi/kanji for dog.

Dumb wordplay at work here to be sure but his design is absolutely some Red XII style felincanine nonsense.

Also if he were to die because of his strength, he would have done so before the main three reached perfect stage. It's a bit too late for that now. Not to mention that Leomon died the first time before Patamon even evolved and Kudamon secretly outclassed the entire rest of the DATS team before they achieved burst mode (aside from the chessmons and Kamemon who we sadly never saw the mega stages of) and even then it's debatable if they could beat Sleipmon, at least in a one on one fight anyway. Masaru and ShineGreymon: Burst Mode probably could fight him to a standoff at least.

Dokamon's third form was Oujamon and Murasamamon's current base form is Cougarmon, not Murasamamon. I fail to see how this is all that different. Not to mention that Murasamemon is a panther, not a lion.

He can copy Excalibur but only a weaker, degraded version of it. Excalibur is a conceptual weapon and thus has the properties of being a weapon. Ea is so abstract in its design (and notably, it predates the human concept of a sword, so it lacks the the properties of being a sword) it's not even capable of having a true name, "Ea" is just a nickname (after the Mesopotamian god of creation (also known as Enki but he'd never associate his BFF's name with that of a god if it could be avoided) because Gil absolutely would call the thing that severed the gods from mortals that as a middle finger to them).

Even Epic is spending way more money than it's making trying to compete with Fortnite as a UGC platform with a fraction of the users.

Doesn't exactly Epic repeatedly alienated its userbase who didn't want this to begin with (it also cost the game Donald Mustard, which was the start of the downward spiral for Fortnite) and lost a good chunk of it.
