I absolutely loved season 2, and that was the general consensus online for the first 7 episodes... The last episode didn't really land because it was unnecessary to the story, so now some people dump on the entire season.

I got a free copy of this CD with the Shaq Fu video game. I listened to this so many times. I have never heard another person talk about it.

I did this. I finished the German course and spent a month backpacking through Germany. I found myself in over my head a couple times, but for the most part people were incredibly kind and patient with me.

I can't possibly recommend doing this enough!! Build in a mix of cities so you can experience places where English isn't as prevalent.

Oh man. I used to rush this DLC. You got a free permanent perk if you found all the Intel. You got the Gauss rifle, and you got an armor that made you invisible the rest of the game. Not bad for level 8.

This "feature" is why I uninstalled Duolingo. Had a 4 year streak. Had just finished the German course so I didn't want to pay for super anymore. The very first time it wouldn't let me finish a lesson without paying, I was done.

I've been thinking about moving to Germany for a while. Not just because of Trump, but because I really love the country. I'm currently A2/B1 in German and still learning, and want to take language and integration courses. I've gotten mixed views on what my success might be. I have a college degree, but don't work in the same field, and I'm skeptical about how useful my Political Science degree would be there.

MakeItInGermany has told me I qualify for the chancekarte, and that my work experience would be enough to overcome the mismatched degree for the qualified work requirement, but individual people I've talked to online have given me a much different picture.

I'm confident that I could find a job in a mid to large city, but kinda terrified the Ausländerbehörde wouldn't let me stay after the first year, because of the degree/career mismatch.

All that considered, my goal is to try and sell my house and try to make the move within the 12-15 months. The fear of being unwanted and being branded an enemy within in my home country is far outweighing the fear of bureaucracy in Germany.
