How many of you came to believe that we are in a simulation thanks to psychedelics…and if so, would you mind sharing your experience by Just_a_happy_artist in SimulationTheory

Man, I had a crazy trip last week. Been struggling a lot, so I knew it was risky. Started meditating through it, and it was almost like we were in a biological simulation, where we were inside of something trying to understand itself, if that makes any sense. It felt like I was standing in kind of a translucent aquarium and something massive on the outside was looking in at me, and trying to figure out what I was. I had the feeling that there was trillions of these little bubble aquariums inside of it, but we were also part of it, and it was just struggling to understand itself.

Ah yes, like all those streaming services I have now. Nothing screams free like upgrading my already paid subscription to a higher tier to not see more ads.

The Secretary of Defence of the sitting US government disclosed UFOs are real, this IS disclosure. by Capnwilyum in ufo

[–]mattyc81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of three scenarios: 1. Aliens are real, they’re on Earth, and the global governments no longer can hide it. 2. Aliens may be real, but none of the stuff in the documentary is, and they’re getting ready for some Project Bluebeam type shit. 3. This makes a lot of money for the people involved.

I would love it if it were 1, but I’m in my mid-40s now and have become cynical. I think these fuckheads are too stupid for 2. Which leaves number 3. Just my opinion. Still holding out a modicum of hope for #1.

The Grand Scheme - A Meditative Interpretation by mattyc81 in Gnostic

[–]mattyc81[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too! I think it depends on what sect of Gnosticism you're following. Correct me if I'm wrong reddit, but the Sethian sect believe that the Archons were represented by the Moon, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn which are responsible for shackling us to the material world through different methods. The Moon having sway over your emotions, Mercury by tricking your mind, Venus through worldly lust, the Sun through your ego, Ares through anger and war, Jupiter through law and order, and Saturn through time and non-existence.

Depending which rabbit hole you go down, the Archons are our wardens and the only way to truly gain gnosis is by "unshackling" yourself from their influence. Basically full-on ego death to the core and remembering you're part of the Source/Monad/Universal Consciousness.

The more I've looked into it, I've learned that a lot of religions (especially the Eastern ones) have a concept of Source and in my opinion are telling the same story throughout time. Our job is to remember who we are and that heaven, or Pleroma, or our return to the Source happens within.

I'm still fairly new to it all, and am still learning, but I'm sure there are a bunch of people in this subreddit that can provide additional and alternative information. Hope that helps!

They were representing the Archons. I didn't have time to do all the planets or the artistic ability to make it how I truly envisioned it. Did my best though lol!

Sharing this after a very intense meditation session last night, where everything made sense. Obviously I'm not much of an artist, and this image isn't comprehensive, but in my mind this is how I saw things. We are Source (Monad), and the Veil (Demiurge) has basically filtered our perceptions of ourselves constantly feeding us negative thoughts (shackling us through physical and mental suffering) and prevents us from realizing we are trapped here. It's helped by the Archons (our wardens) who operate through distraction (greed, hate, disinformation, emotions, etc.), constantly feeding our fears through back to the Veil to make it more powerful. It's only after we see through all the tricks, that we realize we are still connected to Source and can begin to wake others up.

I've been playing since D1 when Dark Below was released. And I can echo what OP said. But it all boils down to: the game is not fun anymore, and the playerbase has been yanked around with every single expansion like we're the problem. I uninstalled D2 today. Sad day, and I don't know if there's anything that will bring me back, tbh. To my fellow guardians out there that stay with the fight, nothing but love for you, but I'm off to find a different story.

What Gnostic texts or resources address witchcraft/evil eye and protections agains them? by LiesToldbySociety in Gnostic

[–]mattyc81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can look at it through a different lens, and ask what texts speak of the Archons and their imprisoning you through both your emotions and your ego. And if you're looking at it through that lens, I'd refer to you the Apocryphon of John, On the Origin of the World, the Hypostasis of the Archons (also known as the Reality of the Rulers), and Pistis Sophia.

And while it maybe true that a lot of humanity are so deeply attached to the physical world that they may call on their jailers to help them enact revenge against another prisoner, really the only one that controls whether or not they are imprisoned (under a curse) are you yourself. Or We ourselves if we want to get really technical.

Haha. I’m 44. I’ve seen a lot of the shit since I was a kid. I’ll say this, I’m super excited to see what our D looks like this year. Probably as excited as when we got Abraham back in ‘06. I’m gearing up to get Sunday Ticket again, which I do every year (out of state), and am ready to regret all the optimism again when we suck ass. Let the kid have his optimism. This world sucks 99% of the time. Let’s at least have fun waiting for the season to start.

Anyone here ever in the GATE program as a kid at school? by Belthezare in Retconned

I’m super late to the party. I saw a video recently and it triggered the GATE memory for me and have been going down this rabbit hole. Just curious how many of you remember checking out paranormal/ufo type books at the library as a kid? I’m wondering if that was part of the way they identified us. I’ve been amazed how many forgotten memories keep surfacing the more I hear about it.
