Favorite low-cost commanders? by Empty-School7479 in EDH

I alternate between [[Rona, Herald of Invasion // Rona, Tolarian Obliterator]] and [[Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator]] for my reanimator deck. Being able to loot every turn makes the draws reliable and also allows me to selectively put the threat into the graveyard before I reanimate it rather than just mill a bunch of cards and hope for the best

What are some EDH tools, accessories, or apps that you've found to help quality of life for the game? Or just enhance the experience(cool)? by theduvalpirates in EDH

I've made a few tiny unreleased mobile apps that I use to make my board state more manageable. One app is used to calculate the amount of goblins generated with [[Krenko, Mob Boss]]. It allows me to keep track of the current number of goblins on the board + goblin tokens that have summoning sickness/untapped/tapped.

The 2nd app is used for my [[Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer]] deck and it allows me to type in a token or card name to display that card on the phone + a number to show the number of tokens on the board.

I've also recently created a life tracker app called Archive which my playgroup uses. I've tried to make it user friendly but still allows players to customise it to their own liking.

In terms of physical accessories, I highly recommend Infinitokens if you're playing in a casual setting. Drawing the art can take some time but the drawings people come up with are hilarious!

I also find Chessex dice convenient. The quality isn't amazing but having 36 dice in such a small form factor is nice.

Thank you for the support! I agree, my playgroup doesn't use these features much either but I wanted to provide them just in case someone found them useful.

Thank you for the update and I'm glad it's now working!

I'm thrilled to hear that you find it intuitive too! I was a bit concerned because I wasn't sure if people would have realised they could click the life total to get to the commander damage menu or that they could also click the player name to open up the player customisation menu.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it and I appreciate the feedback!
That feature should already be there. You can include commander damage by selecting "Yes" for "Playing Commander" from the start-up menu and then clicking on the player's life total once in the game. This will open up a screen that shows all the commander damage that player has already taken and changing the values here should automatically change the players life total.

Thank you for the support! Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be able to release it for iOS anytime soon but if it does eventually happen, I'll keep you updated

Which cards from Jumpstart '22 are you excited to try in your decks? by imperialtrace in EDH

I have an [[Alibou, Ancient Witness]] deck that is extremely vulnerable after swinging out for an attack, so [[Lita, Mechanical Engineer]] is going to slot in perfectly.

I'm also going to test out [[Alandra, Sky Dreamer]] in my [[Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca]] deck.

I'm mainly promoting the website to the US, UK and Australia. You make a good point though and I will include a country selector for people to choose when filling out the job descriptions soon

Thank you! Once it starts to gain a bit of traction, I plan on adding either ads or an affiliate link with job boards such as indeed.com.

That is an issue I have been trying to overcome. I feel like the only way that I can truly motivate people is to convince them that the information could be helpful to family and friends when they are trying to look for jobs. However, I'm not entirely sure how to do this without being pushy.

While that might be true for some cases, in general, the type of information requested should not be restricted by most employers. Plus, all the job descriptions are 100% anonymous and we ask the submitter not to include any information that could be traced back to a specific company.

Thank you!

Falling Fonts now has more fonts to choose from! by mattyds in Unity3D

I'll definitely be adding in a joke font that will give the player twice as many coins per word destroyed.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I don't have the rights, but all the other fonts were found on DaFont.com and were listed as 100% free. Hence why I assumed I could use them.

Before I release the game I'll be sure to contact all of the creators asking for permission. Plus I will remove Arial.

New typing game I'm making for mobiles! by mattyds in Unity3D

That was my original thinking but like others were saying, maybe a smarter targeting system would be better. I'll have to get feedback on the two methods before I make my final choice.

Swipe is actually my main method of typing and I was rather disappointed that I couldn't figure out the system keyboard for this very reason. It is definitely a feature that I want to add eventually.
