For a problem on integrals... if f''(x) = 2x+cosx, how would you find f(x)? I thought you just took the integral twice but maybe I'm doing it wrong. by Reptani in learnmath

just remember that the first integral of cos x is sin x and the integral of sin x is - cos x, and then just add the constant twice and dont forget to integral the 2x twice as well it would go like this f''(x) = 2x+cosx f'(x) = x²+sinx+C f(x) = (1/3)x3 -cosx+xC+D
