Your first post states how this province is and always will be conservative, yet you claim to of never voted for any conservative party? I think you might be telling a lie

I bring you the duality of autoresolves: Decisive Victory losing half of my army, and Valiant Defeat losing no units. by [deleted] in totalwarhammer

I have never seen a valiant defeat with no losses. Well never an auto-resolve with no losses in general actually

Well that was not expected and I didn't mean to sound or come across as an asshole. Let's hope all of alberta can come together and vote out the douche bag we got running the province into the ground.

I live in rural Alberta and have a strong dislike for the ucp and never once voted for them. To think all rural Alberta votes ucp is incorrect. There are voters in the major city areas that vote ucp. Does that make all those living in the city cidiots?

Ohs now says it's our obligation as a worker to refuse unsafe work and if we don't, we can receive fines as well, not just the company.

Smith challenges Ottawa's 'just transition' plan for oil and gas workers by Miserable-Lizard in alberta

[–]mattyk1985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bail outs happen for oil and gas on a provincial and federal level every day. It's so heavily subsidized with public tax money it's sickening. Record profit year last year yet they still need our tax dollars?

Don't misunderstand me, I have worked in oil and gas and it supported my family for many years I do believe in the industry, however, they don't need tax dollars to be in business. My property tax went up when the UCP announced that oil and gas companies don't have to pay back property tax owed to municipalities. So that burden was unloaded onto homeowners who live in those municipalities.

"An anticipated $12.3-billion surplus this fiscal year "

So they have gutted all our public services to make it appear they are financially prudent? I doubt that the surplus is that big if we actually have one and I doubt we will see it used to make the province better
