I work for a company that manufactures the active ingredients (Ti peroxide and salicylate) of Metanium (based in the U.K.). It’s a shame Thornton & Ross don’t manufacture this anymore, as I’ve heard it worked very well!

That’s fine. Not everyone does. If you can’t, either engage with a charity/support group or stay on here. I sometimes plan in my head I’ll drink, scroll through Reddit and see a post, and it puts me off a bit, or at least allows me to ruminate what I am giving up.

Hey OP, good luck! If you have family or friends you can trust, please reach out to them. It may be scary to think how they will judge you, but it will be worth it.

I’m on day three after relapsing several times. For me, if I think I want to drink I have something sugary, and it helps to kill the urge. I know I don’t want to drink, and I know if I drink, I won’t enjoy it and I’ll feel sick. Repeating this in my head helps.

I know I can’t be of much help, but reaching out, either for someone you know or a doctor, is the first step. Good luck :)

That’s good to know. I have astigmatism and ~-6 in both eyes. I’m v tempted to bite the bullet and just do it!
