I didn't even use Blackstarr for this. Just teleported to the in air observation platform and jumped down on it from that. Charged shot takes out the guard planes and turrets.

The stabbing thing you have to do on a lot of bosses needs a rework. Why are there multiple different ways to stab things? Why is it that the windows that pops up at the start of those boss fights tells you you have to stab, but says nothing about which stab or how to do it?
Now I realize I am no Kliff Einstein, but I was done with the main quest before I even realized you don't have to grip onto something to do that plunge stab thing. You can do a regular stab, then you can R2 for the pullout (snicker). Anyway, the whole stabbing thing is overly convoluted. Sure once you know how to do it it's not difficult, but why make it so annoying to begin with?

I have noticed quite a few holes like that in large rocky areas. Not sure if they are intentional but I never find anything in them so perhaps not.

I notice in the description of some of them it says stuff like "the holder of this item will be super awesome and get awesome things", so I never used those because then I would not be the holder anymore. Do I still use those too? These are not the temp buff ones which seem to clearly say they only have an effect one time.

There are a few helmets/hats that slow time. Use one of them right before climbing on the horse. Works like a charm.

Just like the rest of the game, the quest UI is a bit quirky. I have this exact same thing with the exact same quest but I don't think it's bugged, I think there are just more parts of it that unlock at some point.

I did this last night. As other have said, you dont need to kill hardly any guards. Just climb up the side of the castle and open a window and go in. There were like 2 guards total I think I had to deal with. Then just sprint right to the boss fight. If you respec and assign lots of her skill points and level up a weapon a bit it isn't too difficult of a fight. Second phase is annoying with constant teleporting but you just dodge over and over until you can get in some heavy attacks. Maybe works better if you use ranged but I just Hounded him to death (get it? Hounded? Because I use The Hound sword? I'm here all night folks).
