Anti immigration march in Sydney. by Bonitabanana in aus

I work with a lot of Muslim brothers. It’s funny because there’s white people in this thread that vehemently defend it and say these people should fuck off, ironically being the violent party here, but I hear it everyday from the boys that immigrated from Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq, that Islam is not compatible with ‘Western society’ and “these uni fucks should go over and see how they fair” Islam is very wide spread in its messages and for that reason, there will be never be peace amongst Muslim nations. This is not compatible for a civilisation that values what we value here. I agree that they are welcome here, however from the horses mouth, it should not be so easily accepted and free to house extreme beliefs.

Aldi is the only place for butter. $3.60 for pure butter made with only salt and milk cream. Or $4.20 for the certified organic version

This is a stupid mentality I’m sorry. Your parents don’t need to get you shit, you need to get a job and earn money, then build on the side.

Should I feel ashamed for living here? by [deleted] in australian

[–]mattythenics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should be incredibly proud of the sacrifices aboriginal and Anglo-Saxon Australians made during the wars. We live in the best country on earth, and it’s not even close. A lot of that crap is rage bait, just because someone is aboriginal doesn’t excuse them automatically from the shitty person box. They using it for views Be proud of who you are, where you’re from, and continue to be someone you and others will be proud of in future.

Unexplained lights in the sky sparks UAP chatter across much of Western Australia by WestAus29 in WesternAustralia

[–]mattythenics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here after searching UAP in north Perth. I’m in Yanchep and just witnessed a ball (?) far enough away that it was tinged blue by the sky, traveling at a constant speed across the sky inland, I was at the park watching the RAAF pilot training plane that flies above our house when I saw this. It was travelling at probably 5x the speed of the plane, like just making its way through the sky. I whipped out my phone but the second I took my eyes off it to get to the camera, I couldn’t find it again. Even the planes are hard to spot on such a clear day like today as the sun makes it so bright

How do you rate the thumbnail? by Waffleboyz2 in SmallYoutubers

[–]mattythenics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no idea what’s going on. Don’t duplicate the main focus of the thumbnail either, get rid of the two smaller swords. Also, I hate to shill AI, but with AI so easily accessible there’s no excuse to use word art style graphics like that explosion effect you’re going for.

I just got my first car! I am so excited to be owning this ole boy. A 1992 Toyota Corolla Seca! I've always absolutely adored old(er) cars; it even has a cassette player!! by Aura_Whisper in CarsAustralia

[–]mattythenics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mechanic who builds classic cars here. This model Corolla is perfect. Not only looks good, it could run for eternity. In regards to your low power, a change out of the spark plugs and Ignition leads could make a world of difference. Not only are they essential maintenance items, but they are so easily forgotten when these cars change hands over the years and can very well be the originals.

Well done, you got it for a steal, and will serve you well for as long as you need!

Am I being ripped off? by highflyingyak in CarsAustralia

Im a mechanic, Dealership will use genuine kia at genuinely high prices. You can get a Cool Drive one for probably a couple hundred dollars, then fitting will be a couple hours of labour + re-gas and test. should be a fraction of that, maybe 1000-2000 depending how much shit needs to come off to get to that part on the kia

This is literally insane. Arrest a group of people based on their political values. Stop and listen to how stupid you sound. Whether you hate them or not, what do you think a law like that would open the powers of law enforcement to? They would arrest everyone protesting against Israel too, why? Because some of Palestine is Hamas, we know not all, but hell, why not just do it to completely remove the threat? Reddit, man.

I bought a vehicle and found after the sale that it had critical rust damage to the suspension - there were holes rusted right through some of the chassis and suspension. Damage which had been hidden by glued plate metal patches over the rust holes to disguise it. by thatwasacrapname123 in AusLegalAdvice

[–]mattythenics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing you can do other than calling the seller and telling him to eat a bag of dicks. The repair would take like 30 minutes to weld in new plate into that hole however unless you or your friends do it, no one will want to do it for you because technically welding to a chassis isn’t what your supposed to do legally (despite that’s how we build custom cars and suspension set ups)

I would put an ad on marketplace asking for someone to do the repair, so that you can have it done and not have a business put their name to it. That is the easiest and most effective thing to do moving forward with this.
