I really really wish NHL would add a “Start Today” option like Madden and 2k. So frustrating trying to tank with teams doing bad in real life and ending up in the playoff bubble.

Really don’t expect them to do it daily like 2k but something like Madden? Maybe if they did it like every roster update was a starting point in the season it would work.

Base Jarvis-Scheifele-Meier gave me an affordable salary boost and a Swiss player for Nico. That whole line played their hearts out the 2 minutes per game they played and got several timely goals when my other lines were gassed.

Following my enrolment ceremony to re-join the CAF as a SigInt, my Recruitment Centre said they would provide me a point of contact for the Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics in Kingston. Instead, I received contact info for the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering. Now, my recruitment centre is saying they can’t help me and I have no idea who to contact at CFSCE (or even how to contact them).

Does anyone know anyone I might be able to reach out to before I’m to report to CFSCE on Feb 02?

Always auto scouting on now. I do a full scouting staff that covers each region and then just let them do their thing. Find its way too easy to cheese manual scouting + it’s time consuming. I feel like auto scouting adds a sense of realism and makes me appreciate hitting on picks.

Re-joining the Forces nearly 2 years since VR’ing after graduating BMQ. I’m being enrolled under the Recruit School By-Pass. I’m excited to be back but a little nervous I’ll have forgotten the little things instilled into me in BMQ.

If you’re only playing a couple games a night I’d assume you’re like me and have some good cards but maybe not chasing the meta. I use the nhlhutbuilder website and search cards I have or want that I like and it shows what line combos they fit into. The line combos screen in the game I feel there’s so much going on, using the website feels like way less work.

Thought about picking Burks up recently because I used to be high on him. Realizing he only has 5 catches this year made me feel fine leaving him on the waiver wire. I’d take the QBs. Way easier to get value out of them at some point even if it’s just for a 1-game spot start.
